ASK Matthew 7:7-12  Devotional:- “If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!” (V.11) NKJV For us to be able to enjoy the love of God as believers, we must begin to ask God for our needs. It is the principle of God that you will only have what you ask (Matthew 7:7). If you don’t speak out to ask, you may not be given. This was the problem of the senior brother of the prodigal son (Luke 15:29-32). Everything is for Him, but he had never asked for any. But the younger brother knew how to ask You must also learn how to ask. This is because you will only enjoy what you asked for. We therefore need to learn how to ask. The word ‘ask’ is not the same as beg or loan. The word asks suggests confidence and courage. It means to demand for what you are due for. It means to ask for your rights and your entitlements in God (Galatians 3:13-14). The bible is a book of covenant ...

SAME FEATHER

SAME FEATHER

Hebrews 17:23-29
Devotional:- “By faith Moses, when he became of age, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter” (v.24) NKJV

Many people today are still victims of wrong association. They move with people who move them away from Christ. This is simply because of the few benefits enjoyed from such groups. But the truth is that if you don’t join the flyers, you may never fly. The reason so many lives are down today is because of the kind of floor people they are moving with.

It was said of Moses that he refused to be identified with the prince of Egypt but preferred to suffer with the Israelites, the chosen people of God. Friend, you need to know that the kind of people you move with will determine what you will be in life.

Association has a strong influence on the life of a man. Each of us has the nature of being influenced by the people around us. The moment you belong to a group consciously or unconsciously, you will want to be faithful to the group. So if they drink, they will influence you into the same. If they have a multi-home, they will influence you to do the same. If they are successful people, they will influence you to do the same. God’s word says, “He that works with the wise will be wise and the companion of fools shall be destroyed” (Proverbs 13:20).

Check your associations, you need a good one to make your life good. Locate a good fellowship. Don’t be tied down to failures. Move with the people you know for progress. Then your life will also move forward.

Prayer: Lord, deliver me from wrong associations.
