  DON’T HATE Matthew 5:43-48  Devotional:- “But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,” (V. 44) NKJV The subject of love is not always easy to practise between you, and those who have shown themselves as committed enemies. Those who will openly stand against you. Those who just hate you for no reason. Those who don’t pray that anything good should happen to you. Yet the Bible gave us a commandment in the midst of it all to love and never to hate them. What a great task! But until a Christian grows to this level, he cannot actually be called mature. The way to handle it is that we should bless those who curse us. Always do good to those who hate you. If they are moved by the spirit in them to do evil to you, be moved by the Spirit in you to love them. We cannot truly say we love till we can prayerfully demonstrate the character of love. DETERMINATION

Luke 19:1-10 
Devotional:- “So he ran ahead and climbed up into a sycamore tree to see Him, for He was going to pass that way” (v.4) NKJV

    One of the unbeatable strengths of life is determination. The reason most people fail in life is because their level of determination is very low. When a man is determined to do something, all other things would be in support of his efforts till he succeeds. It is determination that makes a man run a race without feeling the pain.

The man we read about today was simply demonstrating determination. And this led him to achieve his goal. He puts aside his status and shame and climb a delicate tree just because he wanted to see Jesus. And when Jesus got to the place, this man’s determination, produced by faith, attracted the attention of Jesus. And that was the day salvation entered his house.

Friend, all you need is to possess genuine determination, and your achievement shall be made easy. To have genuine determination, you need to analyse your goal and understand how vital it is to your life and destiny. If the goal is not very important to you, then your determination may be weak. Make a decision today in your heart to make it no matter what. As you take a strong decision, every part of your system will start to work together. You will be so determined that you will not mind the shame or the difficulties. At such point, you are higher than obstacles and can no longer fail. If you can always come to this level of determination, your shame shall be turned to honor. Then, you will achieve your success without knowing the pain. Then you will be able to break all barriers and limitations. Listen, God has created this in you naturally. You only need to convince yourself of the importance of your goal and go for it. You will come back singing.

Ask: Lord, release your strength in me for achievement.

“WHEN YOU HAVE A GENUINE DETERMINATION, YOUR GOAL IS AS GOOD AS ALREADY BEEN ACHIEVED”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
