THE PAST

THE PAST Isaiah 43:8-21 Devotional:- “Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old.” (v.18) NKJV God, who gives us a memory, want us to use our past experiences to help us make quality decisions in the future, but the past is always the enemy of the future for many. If you don’t know how to manage your memory system of the past, it is capable of standing against your success in the future. As emotional beings, we are sometimes faced with the challenges of memories of our past experiences, our errors and failures. You will observe that at every point of decision-making to progress, the enemy will bring back to your memory the past experiences of your failure. This is just to bring fear to your heart and make you doubt the possibility of your success, so you could lose your joy. The scripture we read today instructs us to let go of the past. God is starting a brand-new thing with you. He is giving you new experiences of success and breakthrough. You need to lea...

YOU HAVE TO FIGHT

YOU HAVE TO FIGHT

Deuteronomy 20:1-4
Devotional:- “When you go out to battle against your enemies, and see horses and chariots and people more numerous than you, do not be afraid of them; for the LORD your God is with you, who brought you up from the land of Egypt” (V. 4) NKJV

God’s children must come to realize that our victory has been purchased by by the blood of Jesus, but we have to fight to establish it in our lives. If you have to face the devil, it will be impossible to defeat him. he was in a greater glory before than you are now. He has been in a battle game before the creation of man (Revelation 12:7-8). He knows far more than we do.

If we have to face him, there will be no victory; The saints in the Old Testament couldn’t withstand him. That is why Jesus came in the form of a man to defeat him for us (John 16:33). So, Christ has purchased for us victory and glory in God. Yet you must fight to claim your victory personally. This call for responsibility on our sides to grow and be strong in the Lord (Ephesians 6:10).

As we read today, God told the children of Israel that “when they go to battle.” That tells us that they must be ready for battle. The Bible says to us that we are not fighting against flesh and blood (Ephesians 6:12). This word informs us that we must be ready for battle.

When God brought the Israelites out of Egypt, He told them that He had given them their Canaan. But God instructed them that they must be ready to fight (Deuteronomy 2:24). This is because God is a Spirit, and what we want in this world are physical. So, it will take a physical man to put physical things in place, and that is why we are made physical. For example, it is not the way of God to help you buy your block and be your bricklayer. He only needs to be in you for you to be able to do it. The one in you is the great one. Arise and contend with the weapon of the Spirit. And physical attainment will bow to you. Peace!

DECLARATION: I will arise and win in the name of Jesus.
