  GIFT AND GRACE Romans 12:3-8 Devotional:- “We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith”(V. 6) NIV   One of the means through which we can demonstrate our love to others is by using the grace and the gifts that are in our lives. As a child of God, you are privileged to enjoy two levels of gifts. The first are the talents and gifts. The second are the gifts of the Holy Spirit. There is no one who is not talented in one area or the other. It may be to cook, sing, design, draw or write. It could also be in the area of sport or decoration. But as a child of God, there is another dimension of gifts in your life given by the Holy Spirit. These are gifts of prophecy, healing, knowledge, wisdom, working of miracles, discernment of spirit, diverse tongues or interpretation of tongues (1 Corinthians 12:6-10). If you don’t know that you have any of this gift, it is because you have not care...

HOPE DEFERRED

Proverbs 13:12-16
Devotional:- “Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but when the desire comes, it is a tree of life” (v. 12) NKJV

    When we want to set goals for ourselves, it would be wonderful if we set a time for our goals. But when it comes to an expectation in our life, when we set goals by faith, we should never waver. We term a hope delayed, when we have an expectation schedule for a time, and it does not seem to be coming at the time we have set for it.

We must know that a faith declaration should send us on duty. Often time we declare our faith and go to bed. This is dangerous for your strength.It is important you know that even when you are exercising your faith, it is in God you are doing that and not in yourself. So, faith demands that you wait on God’s direction so that you don’t delay your miracle.

Many believers are becoming weak in faith because their expectations are delayed. This year, God will visit your case. Don’t give up, rather give up your own struggles and take to His instruction. Remember getting offended or wearied in God will not bring about your miracle. Take a new faith daily in God. Wait for His direction, i.e. take instructions from Him and obey Him. Then you will soon be established in your place. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, help me to always wait on you.

“NO ONE CAN FIGHT GOD AND WIN.”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
