THE PAST Isaiah 43:8-21 Devotional:- “Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old.” (v.18) NKJV God, who gives us a memory, want us to use our past experiences to help us make quality decisions in the future, but the past is always the enemy of the future for many. If you don’t know how to manage your memory system of the past, it is capable of standing against your success in the future. As emotional beings, we are sometimes faced with the challenges of memories of our past experiences, our errors and failures. You will observe that at every point of decision-making to progress, the enemy will bring back to your memory the past experiences of your failure. This is just to bring fear to your heart and make you doubt the possibility of your success, so you could lose your joy. The scripture we read today instructs us to let go of the past. HE GIVES STRENGTH

HE GIVES STRENGTH

Isaiah 40:21-31
Devotional:- “He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength” (v.29) NKJV

It often looks intimidating to suddenly discover that you are not as strong as you used to be. This is a state in which you can’t just locate your strength. One thing or the other has sapped them. Such cases might make some people afraid; those things of which they have boasted seem not to be there again. Others may think that at this time, the enemy might come to take advantage of them.

You, as a child of God, must never depend upon your strength; this is because human strength doesn’t always last. Your strength may never even be able to give you victory in the end (1 Samuel 2:9). You must always depend on the strength of God. Even when you can't feel Him, believe His with you, He is always there (Joshua 1:5; Matthew 28:20).

When God is your strength, your strength will always be there. His strength cannot diminish. Since you have made Him your strength, your strength will always be on the increase, too. He will keep supplying strength to you, and there will be no room for the enemy around you. Then your victory will be constant.

All that is important is to always wait on Him. That is, you don’t start running when He has not given you strength. His strength come whenever He speaks to you. In any area of your weakness now, you can draw on strength by faith. This is by asking Him for instructions, and your strength will be revived. Peace!

PRAYER: Lord, I have come to renew my strength in you.

“IF YOUR SOURCE IS GOD, YOU CAN’T BE EXHAUSTED
