THE PAST

THE PAST Isaiah 43:8-21 Devotional:- “Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old.” (v.18) NKJV God, who gives us a memory, want us to use our past experiences to help us make quality decisions in the future, but the past is always the enemy of the future for many. If you don’t know how to manage your memory system of the past, it is capable of standing against your success in the future. As emotional beings, we are sometimes faced with the challenges of memories of our past experiences, our errors and failures. You will observe that at every point of decision-making to progress, the enemy will bring back to your memory the past experiences of your failure. This is just to bring fear to your heart and make you doubt the possibility of your success, so you could lose your joy. The scripture we read today instructs us to let go of the past. God is starting a brand-new thing with you. He is giving you new experiences of success and breakthrough. You need to lea...

WITHOUT HIM

WITHOUT HIM

John 15:1-8
Devotional:- "I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing” (V. 5) NKJV

God made man to be independent. He made us as being that is capable of carrying out our destiny on earth. We are made like God. Yet, we must know that true independence is to know what you want and choose to connect to where you can get it. No independence means not depending on a source. You are made to be influenced by a spirit, depending on your choice. It could now be of God or the devil (Job 32:8).

The free moral agents that God created us to be are to allow us to use our will power voluntarily. But please, know where to plug yourself. Jesus said, “He is the vine and we are the branches. When the branch removes itself from the vine, it is going to dry and be destroyed. That is why, without Him, we can do nothing.

Be careful not to keep living without Him, so that you are not unconsciously connecting to the devil through the flesh. Let God be involved in all areas of your life. He is the source of true strength (Isaiah 40:29). Always connect yourself to Him in your heart by always acknowledging Him, and new strength will always flow into you (Isaiah 40:30-31). Plug your health, family, business, finances and ministry into Him. You will never lack the strength

PRAYER: Lord, help me never to be cut off from you.

“ANY PART OF YOU THAT IS OFF CHRIST IS OUT TO DRY.”
