THE PAST

THE PAST Isaiah 43:8-21 Devotional:- “Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old.” (v.18) NKJV God, who gives us a memory, want us to use our past experiences to help us make quality decisions in the future, but the past is always the enemy of the future for many. If you don’t know how to manage your memory system of the past, it is capable of standing against your success in the future. As emotional beings, we are sometimes faced with the challenges of memories of our past experiences, our errors and failures. You will observe that at every point of decision-making to progress, the enemy will bring back to your memory the past experiences of your failure. This is just to bring fear to your heart and make you doubt the possibility of your success, so you could lose your joy. The scripture we read today instructs us to let go of the past. YOU MUST NOT BE WEAK

YOU MUST NOT BE WEAK

Job 22:21-30
Devotional:- “When they cast you down, and you say, 'Exaltation will come!' Then He will save the humble person” (v. 29) NKJV

The experience that many people are going through in the world today is making them weak. Too many people are now in deep sorrow of defeat by situations and circumstances. Those we used to think were strong are now very weak. The tables are turning against so many strong men.

It is important that you know that this is not the will of God for you. Many Christians are becoming weak. They have allowed the fear of the world to creep into them. They’ve forgotten that they are not of the world (John 17:14). The reason for this sudden predicament befalling people is that it is time for God to punish all acts and attitudes of unrighteousness.

These are the days of vengeance of our God, but it is going to be for your favour. When the wicked are suffering, you will be rising (Isaiah 60:1-2). It is your own acceptable time before the Lord (Isaiah 6l:1-3). The wicked may be weeping, but you shall be comforted. That is why you must not allow situations to make you weak.

You must therefore know that God is turning the tables to your side for good. So, you cannot afford to be weak. Locate your source of strength and tap into it as much as possible (Isaiah 40:31; Psalm 84:7). Don’t ever fail to appear before Him, and your story shall be different from now. Peace!

PRAYER: Lord, restore your strength to me.

“WEAKNESS IS A RESULT OF ABANDONMENT OF YOUR SOURCE”.
