LOVE DEFINED I John 4:7-11 Devotional:- “He who does not love does not know God, for God is love” (V.8) NKJV Today, many people have been put into great trouble simply because they are looking for love. Since the nature of man cannot enjoy living without a lover, everyone searches for one wholeheartedly. If you find anyone who says he doesn’t need love from anyone, he is not sincere. He will soon find himself in desperate need of love. Since love is a universal need, men always seek for it, and most people never find it. There are quite a lot of things men term love, which are not, and has inturn misled and confused them. Until you can define your need, you may not have them met. This necessitates the need to truly define love. The scripture we read today gave us the true meaning of love. And you will be wise to embrace the word of God. It said, “God is love” (1 John 4:8). GRATITUDE

Habakkuk 3:8-19
Devotional:-  “Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation..” (V. 18) NKJV

    One of the great weapons to help you retain your strength in God is gratitude. This is because ingratitude reduces our strength. That is why it is often said that gratitude is the mother of altitude. Gratitude strengthens you with peace sufficient for progress. It makes God approve of you for your next level in life (Luke 17:17-19).

This is because the person who keeps thanking God for what He has done and for what He is doing is humble (Matthew 15:35:38). This will make him keep seeing the opportunities around him. Such will always enjoy divine strength for progress in life (Habakkuk 3:17-19)

This is an area most people don’t care about, which has not allowed them to be strong in life for progress. Ingratitude is a product of pride and arrogance, and it can stop the flow of grace for strength from God. It blocks good thinking and closes the door to mental light. That is why ungrateful people draw on their own strength, not on the strength of God. So, frustration and sorrow are not far from them.

Friend, humble yourself to always see God as good. That you can even read or listen to this devotional means God is good to you. That you slept and woke up shows His mercy (Psalm 3:5). That you are alive means you are privileged (Psalm 150:6). Then God will perfect all things concerning you. Peace!

PRAYER: Lord, Give Me A Grateful Heart.

“GRATITUDE WILL ALWAYS PRODUCE ALTITUDE.”

The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
