HOURS OF PRAYER  Acts 3:1-10 Devotional:- “Now Peter and John went up together to the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour” (V.1) NKJV   🎙 Victory Daily Devotional HOUSE OF PRAYER Support Us Acts 3:1-10 Remi Agbabiaka Outreach Ministry (RAOM)  |  victorydaily.blogspot.com Most people only pray or want to pray when they are faced with challenges. But for growing children of God. Prayer is not just making a demand. It is also creating time to be with our father. Much more than our request, God wants us around Him. He wants us always to speak and commune with Him.   Observing the scripture, you will discover prayer has been the habit of all men of God, including Jesus Christ (Luke 6:12). Jesus spent many of his nights praying and the days working. And when He was teaching the disciples, He said, “Pray lest you fall into temptatio...

GRATITUDE

GRATITUDE

Habakkuk 3:8-19
Devotional:-  “Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation..” (V. 18) NKJV

One of the great weapons to help you retain your strength in God is gratitude. This is because ingratitude reduces our strength. That is why it is often said that gratitude is the mother of altitude. Gratitude strengthens you with peace sufficient for progress. It makes God approve of you for your next level in life (Luke 17:17-19).

This is because the person who keeps thanking God for what He has done and for what He is doing is humble (Matthew 15:35:38). This will make him keep seeing the opportunities around him. Such will always enjoy divine strength for progress in life (Habakkuk 3:17-19)

This is an area most people don’t care about, which has not allowed them to be strong in life for progress. Ingratitude is a product of pride and arrogance, and it can stop the flow of grace for strength from God. It blocks good thinking and closes the door to mental light. That is why ungrateful people draw on their own strength, not on the strength of God. So, frustration and sorrow are not far from them.

Friend, humble yourself to always see God as good. That you can even read or listen to this devotional means God is good to you. That you slept and woke up shows His mercy (Psalm 3:5). That you are alive means you are privileged (Psalm 150:6). Then God will perfect all things concerning you. Peace!

PRAYER: Lord, Give Me A Grateful Heart.

“GRATITUDE WILL ALWAYS PRODUCE ALTITUDE.”
