CHOICE OF JOY Acts 16:20-30 Devotional:- “But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them.” (V.25) NKJV So many people in this world have not woken up to the fact that the way they live is their choice. One of the greatest errors is to think that the situation a man finds himself, is the determining factor of his life. This is not true. Please come to an awareness of this truth from now on: that you are living as you have chosen to live. Get to know that you are a creature of choice. Whatever your choice is, that is your lot. God chooses no evil for anyone in life (Jeremiah 29:11). Whether you are happy or not, whether you are rich or not, whether you are healthy or not, it is your choice; if you decide otherwise from now and stand by your decision, things will change for you. POTTAGE OF DESTINY   

Genesis 25:29-34 
“And Jacob gave Esau bread and stew of lentils; then he ate and drank, arose, and went his way. Thus Esau despised his birthright.” Vs. 34


    Appetite many times lead people to do the unthinkable. Appetite for sex makes some rape others, appetite for money turn some to robber, appetite for fame makes some go into occultic practices. Esau was terribly hungry. He saw Jacob with pottage and just to satisfy his hunger, he threw away his birth right over the pressure of hunger and the sight of a post of delicious pottage. His lifelong treasure and his birth right meant nothing anymore to him. He lost it, he lost the blessing meant for him and his linage in life.

Please, master and control your appetite or your desire in life. Put them under control in subjection to God’s word (1 Corinthians 9:27). Do not gratify it at the detriment of your destiny and that of your family. Esau lost a glorious destiny because of a bad choice he made. He later regretted his choice. He wept and begged for blessing, but they were no more (Hebrews 12:16-17). 

See, most of the mistakes we made in life can be corrected, but some cannot be corrected. Esau’s mistake cannot be corrected, he lost his destiny for food. You are to take charge of your appetite, else, it will rob you of your blessings. Allow the Holy Spirit to help you and He will.

Prayer: Lord, give me grace to put myself under your check always

“WHATEVER YOU LOOSE MAY BE DIFFICULT TO GET AGAIN”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
