HOW SERVANTS THINK

HOW SERVANTS THINK Numbers 14:11-25 Devotional:- “But My servant Caleb, because he has a different spirit in him and has followed Me fully, I will bring into the land where he went, and his descendants shall inherit it” (V. 24).   To be a servant requires complete mental shift and change in attitude. Before God, attitude count more than achievement (2 Chronicles 25:2). So, when we look at how real servants think, they think more about others than themselves. Humility is not thinking less of ourselves but thinking of ourselves less (Philippians 2:4). Jesus takes the form of a servant (Philippians 2:7). We can measure our servant’s heart by how we respond when others treat us as servants. Real servants think like a steward and not owner. They keep in mind that God owns it all.  To become a real servant you’ve got to settle the issue of money in your life (Luke 16:13). Please understand that money has a great potential to replace God in our heart. When Jesus is your master...

LOVING THE LORD

LOVING THE LORD

Matthew 22:34-40
Devotional “Jesus said to him, "'You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.'”  v37

The single attitude of loving the Lord makes a great difference in the life of every citizen of the kingdom. It is also important you know that loving the Lord is a choice. You need to observe that it is not every one that follows the Lord that loves the Lord. That is why you should not just make anyone in church your Christian model.  For those who choose to love Him with all their heart (passion); with all your soul (being); and with your mind (in your thinking) (Deut. 6:15). These means with all our beings and with all in us.

Friend, if you don’t consciously choose to love the Lord, you may not really love Hm. This is not for what to get, but what to give to proof your love. Jesus says, if we love Him, we will obey His commandment (John 14:15). You cannot say you love God and hate your fellow brother (Matthew 22:37-39). If you know God, you will love God because He is everything you need (1 John 4:7-8). If we love God, then we will create time out of no time to serve the Lord.  To always be in the presence of God will be a delight, if you love the Lord. Our giving should be because we love the Lord and our reward will be certain. Peace

Prayer: Lord, help me to choose to love you always.

“YOU CAN’T LOVE THE LORD AND KEEP DISOBEYING HIM”
