  GIFT AND GRACE Romans 12:3-8 Devotional:- “We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith”(V. 6) NIV   One of the means through which we can demonstrate our love to others is by using the grace and the gifts that are in our lives. As a child of God, you are privileged to enjoy two levels of gifts. The first are the talents and gifts. The second are the gifts of the Holy Spirit. There is no one who is not talented in one area or the other. It may be to cook, sing, design, draw or write. It could also be in the area of sport or decoration. But as a child of God, there is another dimension of gifts in your life given by the Holy Spirit. These are gifts of prophecy, healing, knowledge, wisdom, working of miracles, discernment of spirit, diverse tongues or interpretation of tongues (1 Corinthians 12:6-10). CHOICE OF LOVE    

1 John 4:7-11
Devotion:- “In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.” v 10


    So many people complain of how they cannot love others. Simply because, they could not meet up with their expectations. This has affected many relationship either in businesses or marriages. There is a need for people to know that love is a choice and not a natural gift of attitude. So, if you need people, you must choose to love them.

The Scripture we read today show us that God choose to love us. The Bible says, while we were yet sinners, He died for us (Romans 5:6). While Jesus was been crucified on the cross in a brutal and wicked way, He was praying for the people. This can only be possible because he has chosen to love us.

Friend if you want a good relationship just understand you are the one to choose to love. Don’t wait for people to be perfect around you, just make your choice. If you want a good family life, you must choose to love. If you want a good relationship, you and your children or parent you must choose to love. If you want to have a good team in your office, you need to choose to love. Don’t allow people to influence you negatively, if they are what they’ve choose to be, you choose what you want to be. Then, your relationship will be an asset and not a liability to your life. Peace.

Prayer: Lord, give me the courage to always choose to love not withstanding

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
