  THE MOST IMPORTANT THING 1 Corinthians 13:1-13 “Three things will last forever-faith, hope, and love-and the greatest of these is love”. (V. 13) In belonging to God and his family the most important thing is love. Because God is love and the most important lesson He wants us to learn is how to love. It is in loving that we look like Him. Loving makes you obey all the laws of God (Gal. 5:14). God wants us to love everyone but particularly members of His family (1 Pet 2:17). A major reason God wants us to specially love members of His family is because He wants His family to be known for love more than any other thing (John 13:35). God want us to be in regular close fellowship with other believers because you cannot develop the skill of love in isolation. To learn to love you must be around imperfect, frustrating and people of different characters.  Love should be your richest priority in life. CHOICE OF LOVE    

1 John 4:7-11
Devotion:- “In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.” v 10


    So many people complain of how they cannot love others. Simply because, they could not meet up with their expectations. This has affected many relationship either in businesses or marriages. There is a need for people to know that love is a choice and not a natural gift of attitude. So, if you need people, you must choose to love them.

The Scripture we read today show us that God choose to love us. The Bible says, while we were yet sinners, He died for us (Romans 5:6). While Jesus was been crucified on the cross in a brutal and wicked way, He was praying for the people. This can only be possible because he has chosen to love us.

Friend if you want a good relationship just understand you are the one to choose to love. Don’t wait for people to be perfect around you, just make your choice. If you want a good family life, you must choose to love. If you want a good relationship, you and your children or parent you must choose to love. If you want to have a good team in your office, you need to choose to love. Don’t allow people to influence you negatively, if they are what they’ve choose to be, you choose what you want to be. Then, your relationship will be an asset and not a liability to your life. Peace.

Prayer: Lord, give me the courage to always choose to love not withstanding

The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
