  TIME OF CELEBRATION  2 Samuel 6:11-23 Devotional:- “Then David danced before the LORD with all his might; and David was wearing a linen ephod” (V. 14) NKJV As much as this season is tagged with much celebration, the enemy often tries to see how he could poison the joy of many people to remove them from the list of people who will celebrate. It will be wisdom for you to know that happiness and sorrow are a choice. I will advise you to choose to rejoice in hope and leave sorrow for the enemy (Romans 5:22). In the scripture we read today, David and all the people were in a mood of celebration because of the advent of the ark of the Lord. But a lady could not see what was worth celebrating, and she took offence at David’s elegant celebration. And she remains barren till her death. Friend, if the coming of the ark of the Lord is sufficient to lose celebration, how much more the coming of Christ, the Son of God. Don’t let the devil push you to sorrow corner in a time like this. CHOICE OF LOVE    

1 John 4:7-11
Devotion:- “In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.” v 10


    So many people complain of how they cannot love others. Simply because, they could not meet up with their expectations. This has affected many relationship either in businesses or marriages. There is a need for people to know that love is a choice and not a natural gift of attitude. So, if you need people, you must choose to love them.

The Scripture we read today show us that God choose to love us. The Bible says, while we were yet sinners, He died for us (Romans 5:6). While Jesus was been crucified on the cross in a brutal and wicked way, He was praying for the people. This can only be possible because he has chosen to love us.

Friend if you want a good relationship just understand you are the one to choose to love. Don’t wait for people to be perfect around you, just make your choice. If you want a good family life, you must choose to love. If you want a good relationship, you and your children or parent you must choose to love. If you want to have a good team in your office, you need to choose to love. Don’t allow people to influence you negatively, if they are what they’ve choose to be, you choose what you want to be. Then, your relationship will be an asset and not a liability to your life. Peace.

Prayer: Lord, give me the courage to always choose to love not withstanding

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.
