ASK

ASK Matthew 7:7-12  Devotional:- “If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!” (V.11) NKJV For us to be able to enjoy the love of God as believers, we must begin to ask God for our needs. It is the principle of God that you will only have what you ask (Matthew 7:7). If you don’t speak out to ask, you may not be given. This was the problem of the senior brother of the prodigal son (Luke 15:29-32). Everything is for Him, but he had never asked for any. But the younger brother knew how to ask You must also learn how to ask. This is because you will only enjoy what you asked for. We therefore need to learn how to ask. The word ‘ask’ is not the same as beg or loan. The word asks suggests confidence and courage. It means to demand for what you are due for. It means to ask for your rights and your entitlements in God (Galatians 3:13-14). The bible is a book of covenant ...

CHOICE OF KINDNESS

CHOICE OF KINDNESS
Proverbs 31:26
Devotional:-“She opens her mouth with wisdom, And on her tongue is the law of kindness.” v 26

To be kind is to demonstrate good gesture towards people around us. One of the attitudes of God is kindness (Exodus 34:6) To be kind is costly; it’s going to cost you parting with things that should have been of comfort to you to help the less privileged. This is not because you have so much, but because you made a choice to love and be kind to others.

When you are demonstrating the act of kindness, people will always assume that it is because you have so much to throw around, which is not always true. If you observe that among the fruits of the spirit, kindness is part (Galatians 5:22). If kindness is a fruit we bear, then, it is not a gift: it is a fruit you cultivate to bear. Those who don’t cultivate it cannot bear it.

If your choice in life is to be kind, then, get ready to build up kindness as a life style. Please know that kindness is a natural disposition of a heart of love. That is why if you truly love, you will not struggle to give (John 3:16). A choice to be kind like our God will cost you cultivating a heart of love for others. God’s word says, he that does not love, does not know God (1 John 4:7-8). The fruit of kindness becomes natural to a heart of love. To demonstrate love, you must learn to obey the word of God (John 14:21). Then, you will be the true son of your father. Peace

PRAYER- Lord, give me a heart of love to be kind.
