TAKE NO OFFENCE Luke 7:18-30 Devotional:- “And blessed is he who is not offended because of Me” (v.23) NKJV   🎙 Victory Daily Devotional TAKE NO OFFENCE Support Us Luke 7:18-30 Remi Agbabiaka Outreach Ministry (RAOM)  |  victorydaily.blogspot.com Sometimes, men easily get offended. That is, they get annoyed and refuse to relate to one another. Many of us have some people we don’t greet now on this account. Some people have taken offence at their parents and relations, and they refused to relate to them. The truth is that if you know the harm you are doing to yourself by so doing, you will give up on this.   In the scripture we read today, John the Baptist was not happy because Jesus did not come to rescue him from prison, and he took offence at Christ. He sent messengers to Jesus to ask if He was the Christ or not. This question see...

MAKING CHOICES

MAKING CHOICES

Genesis 3:1-8
Devotional:- “So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate”. Vs. 6

One major trouble in the life of men today, is our inability to comprehend how the things are carried out in our lives. Because we don’t know how many things happen in our lives, we stumble at so many things and we become victims of trial by error.

In our scripture today we can see how the woman made the choice of eating the fruit God had said they should not eat. The serpent came with a new information contrary to what Adam and Eve have been told. The serpent convinced the woman that God was a liar (Hebrews 6:18). God do not want man to be conscious of negative, evil or sin because consciousness of sin reduces our confidence or boldness. The woman chooses to eat the fruit and gave to her husband who also do not hesitate to take it.

The process was that, an information come to her stronger than the formal, she thought over it and her will power was employed to act on it. Take care of what you are hearing or seeing because your will power, will drive your emotion to action over it (Mark 4:24). Whatever you give yourself to keep hearing, you will meditate over it and act it out.

Prayer: Lord, help me to mind the kind of people I listen to

“WHAT YOU KEEP HEARING AND THINKING, YOU WILL KEEP PRACTICING”
