  OTHER gods Psalm 16:1-11 Devotional:- “Their sorrows shall be multiplied who hasten after another god; Their drink offerings of blood I will not offer, Nor take up their names on my lips.” (v.4) NKJV When people are caged in the spirit of idolatry. It will take God to deliver them. This spirit enslaves them in an endless journey of sorrow. They keep moving on in their wicked and painful sacrifices till they enter into their pit of regrets. This is because wickedness makes people seek the devil for a solution. It is either that they want spiritual aid for promotion, money, or power that they are not entitled to. Since they think that God’s way seems to be slow, they then turn to the devil for faster ways and evil results that look temporarily good. Sons of men need to know that the evil of “get it quick at all costs” is foolishness. GOOD MOTHERS’ CHOICE

Exodus 2:1-10 
Devotional: -So the woman conceived and bore a son. And when she saw that he was a beautiful child, she hid him three months” Vs 2


    Pharaoh the king, had made a decree that every son that is born to the Hebrew women should be cast into the river. A woman conceived and had a baby boy. Seeing that the baby is a precious gift from God whose life should not be wasted, she took a step of faith, she was not afraid of the king’s decree. She made a choice of faith and not of fear. That brought a great reward and not regret. 

Many times in our lives, we are confronted with great challenges. Such challenges that can bring great fears and anxieties to our lives. At such times, faith and firmness in righteousness is a rewarding choice. Faith in God never fails. Look into the word of God; get a promise of His word for your situation. Stand on the word of God, it may seem like a risk, don’t worry and don’t cast off your confidence in that word (Daniel 3:16-18). It will yield a great reward (Daniel 3:26-29).

Refuse to compromise your stand in this ungodly world. Choose to stand for the Lord. Don’t mind the comment of people. Then you will triumph at last in Jesus name. Peace!

Prayer: Lord, help me to always choose to live by faith in your word

“FAITH IN GOD, WILL ALWAYS PREVAIL”

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
