HE NEVER CONDEMNS

HE NEVER CONDEMNS John 8:1-11  Devotional:- “She said, "No one, Lord." And Jesus said to her, "Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more”” (V. 11) NKJV One of the tricks the devil often used against man is to make us feel condemned. To be condemned is a feeling of self-judgment. It is the act of judging oneself to death when God has not. A man with condemnation cannot be bold or courageous. He cannot exercise faith. He cannot take a risk and so cannot find it easy to succeed. The truth is that God does not condemn man. So it is like man to feel condemned, and it is the handiwork of the devil. It was said about Jesus, “for God did not send His son into the world to condemn the world, but that through Him might be saved” (John 3:17).  God has appointed Jesus to judge the earth. But that is not now. Condemnation is a feeling that one has been written off and is not worthy of living anymore. The only people who will face God’s final condemnation are those who refused to...

GENTLENESS.

GENTLENESS.

Matthew 11:25-30
DEVOTIONAL:-“Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.”  v.29

One of the attitude of greatness is gentleness. It is an act of self-controlled. It is manifested in a man who has learn when to be quiet and when to talk. A gentle nature is a nature of a rich and mature people (I Peter 3:4). The word of God says, it is very precious in the sight of God. This wise virtue is cultivated by choice.

In our scripture today, Jesus says I am gentle and lowly in heart and when you walk with me you will find rest for your soul. When a man chooses to operate with a gentle Spirit, relating with him makes you learn so much. This is because this virtue will make him to only respond at the right time with wisdom. The people operating the opposite of a gentle Spirit are the proud, loud and always offensive in relationship (Proverbs 10:21, Eccl. 5:3, 7).

Friend, a loud and proud person will lose many precious friends. Make a choice to cultivate a quiet and gentle spirit. This is not been moody, but been in control of your tongue. Not just talking anyhow, but only in wisdom. Observe that gentleness is part of the fruits of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22). This means, it can be cultivated by the help of the Holy Spirit. It can be produced in the fear of the Lord and in a heart that is humble before the Lord. A gentle man will always be preserved in many situations. Peace

PRAYER: Lord, help me to choose to grow a gentle Spirit.
