PRESENCE OF GOD  Psalm 16:5-11 Devotional:- “You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore” (v.11) NKJV As good as joy is, one of the greatest tasks of joy is sustaining it. So the world always finds it difficult to sustain. Many cannot even experience it for more than two hours per week. This is because they have not located the source of joy. As a believer, you need to know that joy is a product of the presence of God. Wherever God’s presence is, our scripture today says joy will fill the place. It means the oxygen and the hydrogen of the atmosphere of God are joy. So you cannot be in His presence and not know joy. No wonder David said he is always glad when it is time to go to the house of the Lord. (Psalm 122:1). To experience the presence of the Lord, you need to be filled with the Holy Spirit, and then His presence will be within you. You also need to believe that He is with you according to His word. RIGHTEOUSNESS              

Deut. 28:1-13
Devotional-"Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the LORD your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, that the LORD your God will set you high above all nations of the earth.” (V.1)


    As citizens of the kingdom of God, it should be cleared to us that we are creatures of choice. If we live in righteousness, it is a choice. Those who don’t live in righteousness have unconsciously chosen to live an unrighteous life. Righteousness means to have a right standing with God. It is to live in the will of God. It is to do what pleases the Lord. It is to live without condemnation in our heart (1 John 3:20-21). 

The bible is a covenant book which offer man it’s blessing if we choose to walk in its instruction. Just in our today’s scripture, God’s word will always give man the chance of making a choice. That is why it’s always starting with ‘if’. The word ‘if’ simply means: if you choose to live in God’s will.

Friend, it is your choice to live right with God. That is when you can access the blessings attached to it. To live righteously is your choice (Deut. 30:19-20). Sometime, we don’t know when we make a choice, but the time has come to make conscious decision whether to follow the Lord or not (Joshua 24:15). Life only respect those who are deliberate in their actions. Please, make a conscious choice to live in righteousness and the blessing of the Lord will begin to speak in your life. Peace

Prayer: Lord, help me to stand by my choice of righteousness

“YOUR ACTIONS ARE YOUR CHOICES, CAPABLE OF IMPLICATING YOU IN JUDGEMENT”

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.

COURAGE

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
