SUCCESS YOUR PURPOSE 2 Timothy 4:1-8 Devotional:- “And now the prize awaits me-the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give me on the day of his return. And the prize is not just for me but for all who eagerly look forward to his appearing” (V. 8) NLT When a person turns to the Lord, invite Jesus to his/her life, and surrender to Jesus as Lord and saviour, then he/she sincerely becomes a Christian. This is the state many in the church has not attained. Many struggle to surrender their lives to the Lord because they are afraid of failure, not able to trust God to give them success, and their love for the things of this world (1 John 2:15-17). When you sincerely surrender your life to Jesus Christ, your view of success cannot but change. Apostle Paul said, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, and I have remained faithful” (2 Timothy 4:7). RIGHTEOUSNESS              

Deut. 28:1-13
Devotional-"Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the LORD your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, that the LORD your God will set you high above all nations of the earth.” (V.1)


    As citizens of the kingdom of God, it should be cleared to us that we are creatures of choice. If we live in righteousness, it is a choice. Those who don’t live in righteousness have unconsciously chosen to live an unrighteous life. Righteousness means to have a right standing with God. It is to live in the will of God. It is to do what pleases the Lord. It is to live without condemnation in our heart (1 John 3:20-21). 

The bible is a covenant book which offer man it’s blessing if we choose to walk in its instruction. Just in our today’s scripture, God’s word will always give man the chance of making a choice. That is why it’s always starting with ‘if’. The word ‘if’ simply means: if you choose to live in God’s will.

Friend, it is your choice to live right with God. That is when you can access the blessings attached to it. To live righteously is your choice (Deut. 30:19-20). Sometime, we don’t know when we make a choice, but the time has come to make conscious decision whether to follow the Lord or not (Joshua 24:15). Life only respect those who are deliberate in their actions. Please, make a conscious choice to live in righteousness and the blessing of the Lord will begin to speak in your life. Peace

Prayer: Lord, help me to stand by my choice of righteousness

“YOUR ACTIONS ARE YOUR CHOICES, CAPABLE OF IMPLICATING YOU IN JUDGEMENT”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
