Since the day you confessed Jesus as your Lord and savior you have decamped from the camp of the devil to that of Jesus (1 Peter 2:9). These camps are ever against one another, just like light and darkness cannot co-exist.   So you as a Christian must not relax. You must be vigilant. The word vigilant means your mind must be alert. MAN OF PEACE

MAN OF PEACE

Matt 5:1-12
Devotional:-“Blessed are the peacemakers, For they shall be called sons of God.” v.9

For us as God’s kingdom citizen, peaceful life is a commandment (Hebrew 12:14). We are commanded to be at peace with all men. So, to obey or not to obey is a matter of choice. People are bound to provoke us to anger and wrought. Yet, our choice of peace will keep us in the pursuit of peace.

In the scripture we read today, Jesus said those who make peace are blessed. The peacemakers are those who choose to be at peace with others around them. Because of their choice, they go extra mile in creating peace in all their relationship with others.

In the other side, you will notice people around you who are not interested in peace. They feel that trouble is the best way to claim their right. The bible says, they do not know the way of peace (Isaiah 59:8). The truth is that someone cannot be troublesome and have peace all around. You cannot give what you don’t have. As a God’s kingdom citizen, your choice of peace makes you have peace in all area of your life. Since you have made your choice of peace, it will cost you holding to the prince of peace in all situations (Isaiah 9:6). You need to always think of peace and be at peace with yourself and others (Prov. 23:7). If your heart is full of peace, your expression will always be with peace (Matthew 12:34). And your life will be full of peace. Peace.

Prayer: Lord, ordain me for your peace forever.

“YOU CAN ONLY PRODUCE WHAT IS IN YOUR HEART”
