  JOY BEAUTIFIES Proverbs 15:10-20 Devotional:- “A glad heart makes a happy face; a broken heart crushes the spirit” (v.13) NLT It is important that people in this generation realise that joy is one of the secrets of beauty. There is no one who does not love to look beautiful in life; people do so much to preserve their beauty. The truth is that it charms the heart of men. It is a strength for influence. It is a language that both men and women understand. Someone who lacks beauty may also be lacking in the school of favour. Don’t let anyone deceive you that it is not necessary to be beautiful. In this world, the way you look determines the way you will be treated (1 Samuel 16:7). We only need to identify true and godly beauty. God’s word says, “Charm and grace are deceptive, and beauty is vain [because it is not lasting], but a woman who reverently and worshipfully fears the Lord, she shall be praised!” (Proverbs 31:30) AMPC. Genesis 1:26-31
Devotional:-“Then God blessed them, and God said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth."  v. 28


   When God made man, he was made just like God to have dominion over all that He has made. Man was made a spirit, he possesses a soul and lives in a body (Genesis 2:7). Since we were made like God, one of the features made with us is the ability to choose. So, we have the ability to choose between what is right or wrong and good and evil. That is why the Psychologists said, we are free moral agent. God respects our choices and decisions (Deuteronomy 30:19). He made us as free moral agents so that we can choose to love God.

Please understand that we are not made like robots to just do what God wants without our will (Isaiah 1:19). Man can choose whether to love God or not (Deut. 30:19-20). Moses told the children of Israel to choose the way of God, because he knew that our decisions are our choices.

You and I need to wake up to know that whatever happens to us in life is a product of our choices. We therefore need to be conscious of our steps for we are responsible for all our choices. We will be judged in eternity based on the choices we made in the course of our events on earth (2 Corinthians 5:10). As kingdom citizens, it is important we learn the act of making right choices. That is when we can be approved before our King for our lifting. Peace!

Prayer: Lord, teach me to make the right choices before you always

Jesus earned this office by becoming the sacrificial Lamb of God for the salvation and redemption of man (Phil. 2:7-11). Therefore, every citizen of the kingdom of God must be followers and disciples of Jesus.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.
