  SPIRITUAL BLESSING Ephesians 1:1-8 Devotional:- “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ” (v.3) NKJV In the demonstration of the love of Christ to us, believers need to come to awareness that He has made every blessing available to us in heavenly places. You need to know that nothing happens physically on earth unless it has first been approved to be, in heaven. You will observe some people trying to achieve something you consider not too difficult, but it eventually becomes impossible for them. This is because heaven has not approved it for them. You must have heard Apostle Paul use the language, “from the foundation of the world,” that is, the things already concluded in heaven for us. MARY’S CHOICE    

Luke 10:38-42 
Devotional- “But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her." (Vs. 42)


    There are two sisters, Mary and Martha. Jesus Christ the King of kings and the Lord of lords visited their home one day. Both Mary and Martha were excited to have this great guest. Martha busied herself preparing food and setting the tables for Jesus. Mary was sited at the feet of Jesus to listen to every word that Jesus had to say. Mary gave priority to the word of God. She chooses to feed on the bread of life (Deuteronomy 8:3). The Bible says she sat at Jesus feet concentrating on Him and not allowing any form of distraction. Her choice brought her the most needed blessing.

 Martha was not wrong to have engaged herself in preparation of food for Jesus. This is because nothing can take the place of food. But the food of the spirit, the word of God is more nourishing. Jesus says “one thing is needful”. Needful means important and indispensable. The word of God is needful. They are life to those who find them (Proverbs 4:20-22). 

When some people are in Church, they don’t realize they are in the presence of Jesus. Instead of settling down to receive the word, they will keep themselves busy doing other things. Such people are missing the most needed thing and such will always lack the blessings of the Lord. You will not miss the most important blessings of life in Jesus name. Peace!

Prayers: Lord, give me understanding of the importance of your word for my life

FOLLOWING CHRIST                   Luke 14:25-33 Devotional Verse:- "If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he cannot be My disciple” (Vs. 26)      God has enthroned Jesus as King of kings and the Lord of lords (Revelation 17:14). Jesus earned this office by becoming the sacrificial Lamb of God for the salvation and redemption of man (Phil. 2:7-11). Therefore, every citizen of the kingdom of God must be followers and disciples of Jesus.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.
