HOURS OF PRAYER  Acts 3:1-10 Devotional:- “Now Peter and John went up together to the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour” (V.1) NKJV   🎙 Victory Daily Devotional HOUSE OF PRAYER Support Us Acts 3:1-10 Remi Agbabiaka Outreach Ministry (RAOM)  |  victorydaily.blogspot.com Most people only pray or want to pray when they are faced with challenges. But for growing children of God. Prayer is not just making a demand. It is also creating time to be with our father. Much more than our request, God wants us around Him. He wants us always to speak and commune with Him.   Observing the scripture, you will discover prayer has been the habit of all men of God, including Jesus Christ (Luke 6:12). Jesus spent many of his nights praying and the days working. And when He was teaching the disciples, He said, “Pray lest you fall into temptatio...

MEDIATOR

MEDIATOR

Hebrews 8:1-13
Devotional:- “But now He has obtained a more excellent ministry, inasmuch as He is also Mediator of a better covenant, which was established on better promises” (V. 6) NKJV

In the Old Testament, the human priest used to stand in the gap between God and man. But because they are also human and can also sin, their priesthood was not able to actually deliver the human race. This is the ministry Jesus is carrying out on behalf of the believers since His ascension to heaven.

This ministry was taken over by Jesus because He loves us. Though He is seated on the throne but sitting closely to the Father to advocate for us. A mediator is someone who stands in the gap between the benefactor and the beneficiary. He is the one who pleads our cause to God. He is the one who intercedes for us before the Father. That is why we can be certain of our faith in God through Christ Jesus.

Friend, since we know that we have Christ Jesus standing in for us, then our faith in the promises of the word of God should be stronger. Our hope in God should be firmer. He is not a man who will forget your case (Isaiah 49:15). That is why He is always asking us to state our case before Him in prayer (Isaiah 43:4), so that He can take it up before the Father. Jesus is walking on your matter. He will soon be through, and your letter of joy shall be delivered. Hold onto your faith in Him; you will never be ashamed.

Prayer: Lord, let my hope ever be in you.
THE VICTORY OF YOUR CASE IS DETERMINED BY THE CALIBER OF WHO IS STANDING IN FOR YOU”
