HOW SERVANTS THINK

HOW SERVANTS THINK Numbers 14:11-25 Devotional:- “But My servant Caleb, because he has a different spirit in him and has followed Me fully, I will bring into the land where he went, and his descendants shall inherit it” (V. 24).   To be a servant requires complete mental shift and change in attitude. Before God, attitude count more than achievement (2 Chronicles 25:2). So, when we look at how real servants think, they think more about others than themselves. Humility is not thinking less of ourselves but thinking of ourselves less (Philippians 2:4). Jesus takes the form of a servant (Philippians 2:7). We can measure our servant’s heart by how we respond when others treat us as servants. Real servants think like a steward and not owner. They keep in mind that God owns it all.  To become a real servant you’ve got to settle the issue of money in your life (Luke 16:13). Please understand that money has a great potential to replace God in our heart. When Jesus is your master...

WAITING FOR THE LORD

WAITING FOR THE LORD

Psalm 37:1-11
Devotional – “Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for Him; Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, Because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass.” V 7

To love to wait for the Lord in the issues of life is a choice. Those who can’t wait for the Lord at the end follows their own way, but not the way of the Lord. Some people are in need of wealth and some in need of health. Some see the way of the Lord as what looks delaying and they choose to follow other way. To wait is to hold on to His promises till your testimony comes (Job 14:14).

The Scripture we read today says we should not fret or be angry or in impatience with God to the point of walking in the ungodly way. This happens when people surround themselves with wrong friends or advisers. Because some people don’t want to take responsibility to grow in the Lord, they will start to patronize fake pastors and prophets till they regret their actions.

Friend, all men has one thing or the other they are trusting God to achieve or attain. God is just using this to test our faith. At the end, those who can wait will give their testimony. Don’t be impatience with God to go the evil way (Hebrew 6:12). Abraham went through his own season of waiting. Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Moses etc. went through their own dark season but they waited for the Lord. Wait for Him and you will not be put to shame. Peace

Prayer: Lord, help me to wait for you not withstanding

“WHATEVER GOD CANNOT GIVE YOU, YOU DON’T NEED”
