SHARING YOUR FEELING

SHARING YOUR FEELING Hebrews 4:11-16 Devotional:- “For we do not have an high priest who cannot sympathize with our weakness… (V. 15)” It is not always very easy for people to understand us, especially when we pass through challenges and are weak. Even those who want to understand and sympathise could get to a level and turn back. Sometimes, instead of people sympathising with us, they constitute a panel of judges and begin to point accusing fingers at us.  As part of the act of love of Jesus, the scripture we read today says, He sympathises with us in our situation. In other words, He knows exactly what you are going through, both the one you can explain and the one you cannot. He could feel exactly the way you feel. The Bible says, He has suffered as we do. Even if you are struggling with a weakness or a sin, He has also been in the flesh. He knows how painful your feelings are. He cannot reject you, and He identifies with you and still loves you. CHOICE OF DESTRUCTION

CHOICE OF DESTRUCTION

Genesis 7:13-23
Devotional:- “So He destroyed all living things which were on the face of the ground: both man and cattle, creeping thing and bird of the air. They were destroyed from the earth. Only Noah and those who were with him in the ark remained alive.” Vs. 23

For many years, it was announced again and again that destruction of flood was coming. God warned anyone who wanted to escape from the destruction to enter into the ark. Surprisingly, most people turned deaf hear to that warning. That was simply a choice for their destruction. Many times, Christians directly or indirectly disobey God’s word and instructions and most times consequences become unbearable.

Today, the message of the coming of the Lord is louder than the preaching of the time of Noah. It is important you don’t turn deaf hear to this warning. The people in the time of Noah thought it cannot be true, but they were caught unaware. Choose to fear the Lord and shun everything that may hinder you from going with Jesus. Refuse to join the multitude that will be destroyed.

Only Noah and his family that entered into the ark were saved from destruction. Be sure that no member of your family is left behind. Minister repentance and salvation to all around you. It is important you know that God put you in that house, school, office or the community that the people around you might hear the gospel through you. Noah choose to be the mouth piece to God and he saved his family. You will not be left behind in Jesus name.

Prayer: Lord, help me to hid in your word for my safety
