SHARING YOUR FEELING

SHARING YOUR FEELING Hebrews 4:11-16 Devotional:- “For we do not have an high priest who cannot sympathize with our weakness… (V. 15)” It is not always very easy for people to understand us, especially when we pass through challenges and are weak. Even those who want to understand and sympathise could get to a level and turn back. Sometimes, instead of people sympathising with us, they constitute a panel of judges and begin to point accusing fingers at us.  As part of the act of love of Jesus, the scripture we read today says, He sympathises with us in our situation. In other words, He knows exactly what you are going through, both the one you can explain and the one you cannot. He could feel exactly the way you feel. The Bible says, He has suffered as we do. Even if you are struggling with a weakness or a sin, He has also been in the flesh. He knows how painful your feelings are. He cannot reject you, and He identifies with you and still loves you. THE WILL POWER

THE WILL POWER

Luke 15:11-24
Devotional -“I will arise and go to my father, and will say to him, "Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you”, v18

A strong factor that helps us to execute our choices in life is our will power. When you have a choice, you must learn to employ your will power. Just like you make your choices, your choices also make you. It is the will power that helps us to effects our choices. Your will power is your resolute and absolute conclusion to execute your choices. Anytime you make a choice and your will power is not employed, you may not be able to make a change in your life by the choice you made.

The man in the Scripture we read today understands how to turn his life around by his choice. He had options to feel ashamed and not to return home. Many are in oversea countries today in the same situation with this man who are not ready to make the choice he made and the way he employed his will power. He told himself “I choose to return home”. He put in the will power and found his way back home.

Friend, you can make a choice today to repent and turn away from the life of sin. You can choose to disconnect from that wrong association, you can choose to have a peaceful home. You can make a choice to stop the life of debt and lack in your life and your life will return to the first glory. All you need to do is to employ your will power by making a resolute and concluding decision through the backing of the Holy Spirit on your matter. Then, you will be on your way to have a change. Peace

Prayer: Lord, give me the grace to make a new choice for a new turn in my life

“YOUR WILL POWER WILL ALWAYS DRIVE YOUR CHOICE HOME”
