WISDOM Proverbs  24:3- 10   Devotional:- "For by wise counsel thou shall make thy war. And in multitude of counsellors there is safety" (V. 6)      Most problems people find themselves today would have been avoided if wisdom has been embraced. Wisdom is what God has given to man by which he may live a sweatless life. Do you know that there is no problem or situation that cannot be solved by wisdom?

FELLOWSHIP Hebrews 10: 19-2 5 Devotional:- “Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching” (V. 25)      Most people always want to have one excuse or the other to absent themselves from the fellowship of children of God. Some prefer to be watching TV programmes rather than being in a service. Some easily stay at home because they have a friend who came to visit them on a Sunday morning. Most of the so-called Christians don't attend fellowship during the week for one flimsy reason or the other. They have underrated the services. So they become Sunday, Sunday Christians.

NEVER LOOK BACK Luke 9:57-62 "But Jesus said to him, No one, having put hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God" (V. 62)            Indecision is one of the characteristics of failure and can result to double defeat. So, a single focus is Important for anyone that will succeed. Every one that will enjoy the kingdom grace must be determined to follow, not withstanding. Most people that are found in the church today have not really come to a point of conclusion whether to follow the Lord or not to follow the Lord. Many are only attracted by bread and cake. Such people want to follow Him only when He is good to them. They will love Him as much as it is rosy and the going is well. One of their legs are inside and the other outside. Any little thing could make them tum back from following Him.

GRACE TO COMPLETE Psalms 121:1-8 Devotional:- “Behold, He who keeps Israel Shall neither slumber nor sleep” (V. 4)      The enemy don’t in most cases hinder people from starting something good. But he will want to wait at the end. So as to disallow them from enjoying the grace of completion. This is the reason the enemy is so much after the life of many people when the year is coming to an end.

NEVER BE PROUD James 4:1-10 NKJV But He gives more grace. Therefore He says: “God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble.” (V 6)      Pride is a sign of selfishness, ego and foolish thought. It is a sign of unbrokenness and rebellion. Pride is simply the display of emptiness. It is only a man who has nothing that tries to prove that he is something. Pride is simply a sign of proving that you don’t need God or that you are more than God.

FORCEFULLY Matthew 11:1-13 NKJV And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force. (V 12)      One powerful thing about the kingdom of God is that it is dynamic. This  is because God has been doing great things in fulfilling His purpose. That is why we can see so many changes coming in to the kingdom of God, the church. The moment any group of people grow cold, the Holy Spirit raises another. This is to fulfil the word of Jesus that says the gate of hell shall not prevail against the church.

  SCRIPTURE TO PICTURE  Genesis 15: 1-6  NKJV Devotional:- Then He brought him outside and said, “Look now toward heaven, and count the stars if you are able to number them.” And He said to him, “So shall your descendants be.”  (V 5 )        A Victor does not win by  letters   alone but by the power in the word of God. Our mind is so strong and powerful because God has packaged great and glorious things into it. Just like the maker of computer s system  has  so many packages into it. One of it is t hat your mind is made to imagin e turning ideas  or messages into image.

WATER OF LIFE John 7:37-44 NKJV On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. (V 37)      It is true that the days of men are filled with many Challenges. But do you know God has also provided wonderful grace and strength for us to face them? One of them is what I call the water of life – “The Holy Spirit”. Jesus was not making mistakes to present the Holy Spirit as the water of life. He was only symbolising the Holy spirit by the way He works. That is, as water but now a living water that gives life. If we quickly look into some characteristics of water. One of them is drinking. We drink it to quench our thirst. And Jesus said we can drink of this water of life so that rivers of living water may flow out of us.

PULLING DOWN STRONGHOLD  2 Corinthians 10:1-6 NKJV casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, (V 5)      There is a strong power God has put in a man and that is our thought; which determines our life. It rules over our life. God’s word says, for as a man thinks in his heart so is he (Proverbs 23:7). It is what we are thinking in our mind meditatively that will eventually happen in our practical life. And so, devil the enemy of God and man knows and take advantage of this weapon in our live. He carries in through our thought. He makes us think negatively, and so become fearful and doubtful.

CONSCIOUSNESS OF YOUR COMPANY      2 Kings 6:8-20 NKJV Devotional:- So he answered, “Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” (V 16)      There is need for us to become conscious of the value God has place on us, being His children. A lot of times when we are afraid, God is surprised and wonder why. One of the things comfortable people seek to have, is security. And God is more than comfortable, so as His children, He has put so many things in place for our security but a lot of God’s children are still afraid because of their ignorance. God said, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge” (Hosea 4:6). 

LIVING BY CONCLUSION Psalm 23:1-6 NKJV Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the LORD Forever (V 6)      You need to understand that whatever is written in the word of God, if you can believe in your heart and you expect it, that will always be your lot. We all need to know that we are slaves to our thoughts. The way you are thinking is the way you will behave and the way you behave is the way your destiny will be shaping up. We need to learn the principles of our lives and situations based on the word of God.

NEW LANGUAGE Romans 4:1  E  6-22 Devotional:- (as it is written, “I have made you a father of many nations”) in the presence of Him whom he believed—God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did; (V 17)      One can be a partaker of the blessings of the city of the army when he can speak their language. That is, when you can communicate effectively.

STAND ON 1 Chronicles 19:10-15 Be of good courage, and let us be strong for our people and for the cities of our God. And may the LORD do what is good in His sight.” (V 13)      Battles of life can sometimes look prevailing over us. It might even look as if one is failing despite all efforts. Sometimes some people look at their situation and conclude that they cannot survive it. They conclude on this because of what they can see happening around them physically but forgetting that situations and people’s comment are not good materials to judge the race of life.

PURPOSEFUL 1 Samuel 17:41-51 NKJV This day the LORD will deliver you into my hand, and I will strike you and take your head from you. And this day I will give the carcasses of the camp of the Philistines to the birds of the air and the wild beasts of the earth, that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel. (V 46)      There is a need for us to understand that God judge the intent of the heart. The Bible says, “by Him actions are weighed (1 Samuel 2:3). Your purpose of doing anything matters to God. This determines whether He will help you or not. Anything you do to acclaim a self-glory; don’t be surprised the end result will not be successful. God’s word says my glory will I not share with another (Isaiah 42:8). Therefore, you must watch the purpose of your step or actions anytime and every time.

TAKING INSTRUCTION 1 Chronicles 14:8-17 NKJV Therefore David inquired again of God, and God said to him, “You shall not go up after them; circle around them, and come upon them in front of the mulberry trees. (V 14)      David the warrior has one interesting quality, despite his life being occupied with battles yet he was full of victory.

CONSCIOUSNESS OF HIS PRESENCE Psalm 23:1-6 “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me” (V 4)      Every man is made strong and become bold by the consciousness of what is inside of him. No matter the situation, the consciousness of our atmosphere strengthen our heart. When we were children, whenever we get to our parents, we have protection, so, will start making trouble and returning to them when we get stuck. We see them as a strong refuge and shelter.

FULL OF GRACE 2 Samuel 9:1-10 NKJV Now David said, “Is there still anyone who is left of the house of Saul, that I may show him kindness for Jonathan’s sake?” (V 1)      Men don’t believe in showing kindness towards someone who has offended   them. We look at them as a bad person and believe nothing good should happen to them. Most people believe the wicked should be paid back in their own coin. This therefore makes us hate those who hate us and love people who loves us. But Jesus said, this does not make us different from the people of the world. It is true that the wicked should be paid with wickedness but not through you. Leave vengeance to God. It is better when they are rewarded by God for everyone will see their shame and great falling. So, leave vengeance for God. We are to show them mercy and grace all the time.

AS HE COMMANDS 1 Samuel 15:10-23 So Samuel said: “Has the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, As in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, And to heed than the fat of rams. (V 22)      God is sovereign in all things. He is the alpha and omega of our lives. It is not when it comes to the battle and victory in life that He will not back us up. He is our creator. He has the right to direct us as His battle axe, we are to obey Him (Jeremiah 51:20). Failure to obey the commander, proves that you are rebellions and that can lead to total destruction.

TRUST-LIFE INSURANCE Psalm 37:1-6 Commit your way to the LORD, Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass. (V 5)      When you entrust something to someone hand, you expect him not only to keep it but to keep it very well. Many of us save in the bank because we have trust in them to keep it very well for us. This is also important to anyone who will not be defeated in the battle of his/her life.

JOYFUL Nehemiah 8:1-11 Then he said to them, “Go your way, eat the fat, drink the sweet, and send portions to those for whom nothing is prepared; for this day is holy to our Lord. Do not sorrow, for the joy of the LORD is your strength.” (V 10)      One of the lifestyles of victors is that they live always in joy. If you observe some strong men you know, you will observe this in them. Sorrow has nothing good to offer any man. It will rather demoralise and evaporates our strength.

GRATEFULNESS Genesis 35:1-7 And he built an altar there and called the place El Bethel, because there God appeared to him when he fled from the face of his brother. (V 7)      A wise man is always grateful because he knows that his strength is not always in his potentials but by making use of opportunities around him to achieve success. A lot of times we succeed because God is involved in it. It is therefore wisdom to you when have such understanding. This will help you to always be thankful both to God and to men.

BEEN PRAYERFUL Acts 4:24-33 NKJV And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness (V 31)      Most things that are beneficial to our lives are not always pleasant to us; simply because the enemy wants us to fall and fail. So he made us hate anything that will give us strength. I am sure that you will observe this in most cases we always enjoy things that will build our physical body rather than things that will build our spirit. We need to understand that it is all together the trick of the devil to make us neglect God and make us think that we can always go on without Him.

CONFIDENCE Hebrews 10:32-39 NKJV Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward. (V 35)      Confidence is an attribute of every Victorious man. A confident man is a man that has the certainty of his ability to overcome. As much as some people can see confidence as a wrong way of living, yet no one has overcome without it.

LION'S LIKE Proverbs 28:1-7 NKJV The wicked flee when no one pursues, But the righteous are bold as a lion. (V 1)      Lions are animals of a unique strength which has boldness inherent in their systems. They are animals that are well respected and feared by both men and other animals.

BORN OF GOD 1 John 5:1-5 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. (V 4)      If you are born of God, strength to overcome is in you. The enemies we face on daily basis are stronger than any imaginary thing. And it is in this light that God dwells in us, that we are be able to live victoriously.  A man without God is too cheap for the devil to handle and to subjugate. If you want to be a victor in any area of your life, you therefore have no option than to be born of God.

STRONG MEN Joshua 14:10-15 Devotional:- As yet I am as strong this day as on the day that Moses sent me; just as my strength was then, so now is my strength for war, both for going out and for coming in. (V 11)        Victory in life is not for the weak but for the strong. This does not mean we have to start body-building to overcome in life. But we need to have the wisdom that gives birth to strength.  If you notice any man who always over-power others, what it takes is only strength through wisdom. Weak people have no portion here on earth. Some are just thirty-two years, and are living as somebody of over ninety-five years old.

SPIRIT FILLED Isaiah 59:15-21 Devotional:- So shall they fear The name of the LORD from the west, And His glory from the rising of the sun; When the enemy comes in like a flood, The Spirit of the LORD will lift up a standard against him. (V 19)      One thing that identifies us with God as His children is the Holy Spirit that dwells in us. It is therefore important for every believer to be filled with the Holy Spirit daily.  This is by fellowshipping with God - reading or listening to the word of God, worship and praying in the spirit on constant basis.

BLOOD MARK Exodus 12:21-31 Devotional:- For the LORD will pass through to strike the Egyptians; and when He sees the blood on the lintel and on the two doorposts, the LORD will pass over the door and not allow the destroyer to come into your houses to strike you . (V 23)      God is a God of mysteries. One of the mysteries of God is the blood. This mystery He taught the children of Israel when He wanted to release them from the bondage of their masters the Egyptians. Before this time God had been doing many things in Egypt and Pharaoh did not bother to attend to the case of the children of Israel.

MEN OF AUTHORITY Luke 10:17-24 Devotional:- “Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you” (V. 19)      One of the privileges we have in Christ Jesus is authority. When God created man in the beginning, He gave him authority over all other creatures. But man lost this authority to the devil through sin (Genesis 2:17, Genesis 3:4-10; Luke 4:6). Since Adam lost the authority, man has been suffering all manner of afflictions in the hand of the devil. Sicknesses, oppression, failure, debt and all manner of evil occurrences.

MEN OF THE WORD Colossians 3:12–17 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. (V. 16)      The word of God is our sword of the spirit (Ephesian 6:17). The word is our sure word of Prophesy (2 Peter 1:19). It is the truth, that is, the law that rules heavens and earth. The word is the covenant and the eternal promise of God. It has been finding fulfilment since ages past and it shall continue to find fulfilment as we put total trust in God and we wait on Him.

MEN OF FAITH Hebrews 11:30-35 Devotional:-“Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises stopped the mouth of lions’’. (V. 33)           Faith is an essential weapon in the hand of those that will be referred to as victors. Our scripture today shows us the catalogue of men of faith who were victorious through faith. People who did extraordinary things on this planet earth, who fought battle and won. People who took their lives in their hands and yet never died. People who faced terrible situations and yet never defeated. We actually have much to learn of them.

AUTHORITY Scripture Reading Luke 10:17-24 Devotional:- “Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” (V. 19) NKJV      When a man speaks or acts with inspiration, he will soon be an authority. An authority is someone that power has been delegated to. Power is the network of forces to answer an instruction from an authority (Psalms 103:20). He will soon be speaking and it will be carried out (Job 22:21-28).

SIGNS AND WONDERS Scripture Reading Isaiah 8:11-18 Devotional:- “Here am I and the children whom the Lord has given me! We are for signs and wonders in Israel From the Lord of hosts, Who dwells in Mount Zion” (V. 18) NKJV      It is natural for a man of inspiration to live as a sign and wonder. This is because, he is moved into all he does by the power of the Holy Spirit. His words and actions will be filled with power. Surely, his days shall be days of signs and wonders.

GOSPEL AMBASADOR Scripture Reading Matthew 28:11-20 Devotional:- “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,” (V. 19) NKJV        As you live daily by inspiration of the Holy Spirit, you will soon be known to be a gospel ambassador. This is because your words, actions and all about your life will be preaching the gospel. The truth is that, if you are common or ordinary where you are then, you may not be a child of God. You will know a child of God by the peculiarity of the fruits of God (Matthew 7:20-21). You cannot hide.

GIFTS OF THE SPIRIT Scripture Reading 1 Corinthians 12:1-11 Devotional:- “But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills” (V. 11) NKJV      When a man is living by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, it will be normal for him to manifest the gifts of the Holy Spirit. These gifts are what the Holy Spirit gives to each one whenever He comes to dwells in us. These gifts are in different ways by which the Holy Spirit manifests through us to carry out His assignments on earth.

RESOURCEFUL Scripture Reading John 7:37-44 Devotional:- “He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water." (V. 38) NKJV      A man who lives by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit will always be resourceful. To be resourceful is to be rich internally, capable of solving problems. A resourceful man is capable of connecting to a source of wisdom for solution. God made man to connect with Him to become resourceful in the world. That is why we must live a life of inspiration.

SOLUTION Scripture Reading Genesis 41:34-41 Devotional:- “So the advice was good in the eyes of Pharaoh and in the eyes of all his servants.” (V. 37) NKJV      God brought you to this world to solve problems. That is what you are wired to do. It is a need that makes the world need you. God only create people that are needed in the world to come to the world. You are a gift to your generation. Wherever the world needs something, God will just need to package the idea, the skill and the passion to get it done into someone and he will put him or her in a womb to be born to the world (Jeremiah 1:5; Ephesians 4:11).

COMFORT Scripture Reading Isaiah 40:1-5 Devotional:- "Speak comfort to Jerusalem, and cry out to her, That her warfare is ended, That her iniquity is pardoned; For she has received from the Lord's hand Double for all her sins." (V. 2) NKJV      Anyone who lives by the inspiration of God will always be a comfort to others. His words will be rich to the hearer. Not because of his qualification, but because of his connection to the Holy Spirit. A rich word is the one that offer you information to help you out of a situation or guide you to progress.

EDIFICATION Scripture Reading 1 Corinthians 14:1-5 Devotional:- “But he who prophesies speaks edification and exhortation and comfort to men” (V. 3) NKJV      The word of God says he that prophesies does it for edification, exaltation and comfort. To edify is to equip someone to grow. It is to give what will build someone up. It is to educate or to enlighten. It is to resolve difficult questions to the understanding of the simple. What look complex become simple for everyone to grasp for their understanding and growth. This is because the more we understand the more we grow.

TALKING WISDOM Scripture Reading Psalms 119:97-104 Devotional:- “I have more understanding than all my teachers, For Your testimonies are my meditation” (V. 99) NKJV      One of the evidences of God being the source of your inspiration is that wisdom will always proceed out of your mouth (Proverbs 1:6-7). Since the Holy Spirit is the spirit of wisdom, He will naturally flow out of the mouth of a man who lives by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.
