  TIME OF CELEBRATION  2 Samuel 6:11-23 Devotional:- “Then David danced before the LORD with all his might; and David was wearing a linen ephod” (V. 14) NKJV As much as this season is tagged with much celebration, the enemy often tries to see how he could poison the joy of many people to remove them from the list of people who will celebrate. It will be wisdom for you to know that happiness and sorrow are a choice. I will advise you to choose to rejoice in hope and leave sorrow for the enemy (Romans 5:22). In the scripture we read today, David and all the people were in a mood of celebration because of the advent of the ark of the Lord. But a lady could not see what was worth celebrating, and she took offence at David’s elegant celebration. And she remains barren till her death. Friend, if the coming of the ark of the Lord is sufficient to lose celebration, how much more the coming of Christ, the Son of God. Don’t let the devil push you to sorrow corner in a time like this. TAKING INSTRUCTION

1 Chronicles 14:8-17 NKJV
Therefore David inquired again of God, and God said to him, “You shall not go up after them; circle around them, and come upon them in front of the mulberry trees. (V 14)

    David the warrior has one interesting quality, despite his life being occupied with battles yet he was full of victory.

In all the battle he fought, there was no record of where he was defeated or fled from his enemy. God always give him victory. We can therefore learn one of the secrets of David for victory. He does not just rely on his own wisdom or knowledge of war. He knew God to be a master strategist. So, he learned how to take instructions from Him. We could see God asking him to go the first time and later asking him to hold on. This is because God’s eye can see your enemy’s camp. So, He know how best to catch up with them.

As a person destined to overcome, you need to have this wisdom from now. God is interested in instructing you on how to go about your ways, if you will ask Him. He can speak to you through diverse means, but in most cases through your mind. God is a Spirit. He relates with us through our spirit and our spirit relate with our mind to relate with the body. If you will allow God’s word to dwell in you richly, then it will become easy for Him to take over you. And when He directs you can’t fail.

Prayer: Lord, help me to always wait on your instructions

“HIS DIRECTION WILL ALWAYS BRING YOUR VICTORY”.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.
