HE NEVER REJECTS YOU John 6:24-40  Devotional:- “All whom My Father gives (entrusts) to Me will come to Me; and the one who comes to Me I will most certainly not cast out [I will never, no never, reject one of them who comes to Me]” (V 37) AMPC Sometimes we imagine God in our mind with the understanding and the likeness of men. We view Him as someone we have to really beg to ever experience His favour or help. The truth is that there are several reasons responsible for this. One of them is that man, by his nature, could reject a fellow man. So when we think of coming to God or returning to Him, we feel in our mind that we are too bad to be accepted. We need to understand that our feelings about God cannot be the best way to describe Him, like His word. Even though we feel like that, yet, the word of God, which is the truth, says, whoever comes to Him, He will never reject. EDIFICATION

Scripture Reading 1 Corinthians 14:1-5
Devotional:- “But he who prophesies speaks edification and exhortation and comfort to men” (V. 3) NKJV

    The word of God says he that prophesies does it for edification, exaltation and comfort. To edify is to equip someone to grow. It is to give what will build someone up. It is to educate or to enlighten. It is to resolve difficult questions to the understanding of the simple. What look complex become simple for everyone to grasp for their understanding and growth. This is because the more we understand the more we grow.

One of the visible evidences of the one that is inspired and speaking by the Holy Spirit is edification. Different people learn at different pace. We understand in different ways. But a man speaking by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit is able to help everyone.

Friend, wherever you may be, in the house, office, church or in the community, learn to acknowledge God for the right word. What will proceed out of your mouth will always help someone to grow. This is how men will notice the virtue in you and draw closer to you. They will have great honour and value for you. You will be a blessing forever. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, make me an instrument of help to others.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
