  WISDOM Luke 21:7-19  Devotional:- “for I will give you a mouth and wisdom which all your adversaries will not be able to contradict or resist.” (V.15) NKJV It is impossible for a man to succeed in this world without wisdom. This is because we are living in a world that is so terrible and perverse. The spirit of the enemy has so much advanced in the children of the world, and we will need a super wisdom to overcome them. But thanks be to God. Wisdom is one of the gifts of love we have from God in the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 12:4-11). The wisdom we have in God is not the earthly wisdom but divine and heavenly. This makes it possible for us to rule on the earth with heavenly wisdom. But you and I must know how to employ this wisdom. This is by asking and giving room for the operation of the Holy Spirit upon our mind. EDIFICATION

Scripture Reading 1 Corinthians 14:1-5
Devotional:- “But he who prophesies speaks edification and exhortation and comfort to men” (V. 3) NKJV

    The word of God says he that prophesies does it for edification, exaltation and comfort. To edify is to equip someone to grow. It is to give what will build someone up. It is to educate or to enlighten. It is to resolve difficult questions to the understanding of the simple. What look complex become simple for everyone to grasp for their understanding and growth. This is because the more we understand the more we grow.

One of the visible evidences of the one that is inspired and speaking by the Holy Spirit is edification. Different people learn at different pace. We understand in different ways. But a man speaking by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit is able to help everyone.

Friend, wherever you may be, in the house, office, church or in the community, learn to acknowledge God for the right word. What will proceed out of your mouth will always help someone to grow. This is how men will notice the virtue in you and draw closer to you. They will have great honour and value for you. You will be a blessing forever. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, make me an instrument of help to others.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
