  EVALUATION 2 Corinthians 13:1-10 Devotional:- “Examine and test and evaluate your own selves to see whether you are holding to your faith and showing the proper fruits of it. Test and prove yourselves [not Christ]. Do you not yourselves realize and know [thoroughly by an ever-increasing experience] that Jesus Christ is in you-unless you are [counterfeits] disapproved on trial and rejected?” (V.5)AMPC At such a time like this every one who desires to fulfill their destiny in life should evaluate themselves. Since life is about fulfilling your purpose, goal or destiny, it therefore becomes possible to measure where you are in the race of your life. The enemy often tries to make this time a period of sorrow for so many people. They will look back and see their poor performances. This will then make them break down to sorrow. EDIFICATION

Scripture Reading 1 Corinthians 14:1-5
Devotional:- “But he who prophesies speaks edification and exhortation and comfort to men” (V. 3) NKJV

    The word of God says he that prophesies does it for edification, exaltation and comfort. To edify is to equip someone to grow. It is to give what will build someone up. It is to educate or to enlighten. It is to resolve difficult questions to the understanding of the simple. What look complex become simple for everyone to grasp for their understanding and growth. This is because the more we understand the more we grow.

One of the visible evidences of the one that is inspired and speaking by the Holy Spirit is edification. Different people learn at different pace. We understand in different ways. But a man speaking by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit is able to help everyone.

Friend, wherever you may be, in the house, office, church or in the community, learn to acknowledge God for the right word. What will proceed out of your mouth will always help someone to grow. This is how men will notice the virtue in you and draw closer to you. They will have great honour and value for you. You will be a blessing forever. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, make me an instrument of help to others.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.
