PROTECTING YOUR CHURCH’S FAMILY James 3:13-18 Devotional:- “Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace” (V. 18) Understanding that the second purpose of God for man is to belong to the church family, there is therefore a strong need for you to protect the unity of your church. Unity is the soul of fellowship. Nothing on earth is more valuable to God than the church because he paid the highest price for it and He wants to protect it. For you to be able to protect the unity of your church, you need to focus on what you have in common and not your differences (Rom 14:19). God wants unity and not uniformity. God made our differences and that should be respected. We must not let our differences divide us. To protect the unity of your church you must be realistic in your expectations from people. Don’t over expect. We need to give up the thought that the church should be perfect and admit that we all are not perfect people but people that wants to be perfec...

TRUST-LIFE INSURANCE

TRUST-LIFE INSURANCE

Psalm 37:1-6
Commit your way to the LORD, Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass. (V 5)

When you entrust something to someone hand, you expect him not only to keep it but to keep it very well. Many of us save in the bank because we have trust in them to keep it very well for us. This is also important to anyone who will not be defeated in the battle of his/her life.

If a man goes to battle alone putting his life into his own hand, that makes it easy to be defeated and kill finally. Most army find one thing or the other to trust their life on before going to battle (Proverbs 25:19).

David always put his trust and confidence in the Lord. That is why he always he goes to each battle and wins (Psalm 20:7-8). Jesus wanted to go to the final battle with death and hell when on the cross and have to commit his life to the hand of God (Luke 23:46). Paul also showed us this secret of victory in his life (2 Timothy 1:12). I am convinced that He is able to keep whatever I have committed unto Him.

Friends, I don't know whose hand you are committing your life to. Is it to money, materials, position, influence or people? All these do not guarantee your security in time of troubles (Ecclesiastes 8:8). But if you trust your life into the Lord of the Lord, you will be as firm as a rock. Your security and victory shall be guaranteed in Jesus name.

Prayer: Lord, into your hand I commit my life, family and destiny

"WHOSE HAND YOU TRUST YOUR LIFE DETERMINES YOUR SAFETY".
