  ATMOSPHERE OF LOVE l John 4:12-19 Devotional:- “There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.“ (V. 18) NKJV In any environment where love is predominant, such environment will be characterized with liberty. So many people who desire an atmosphere of love today unconsiciously create barriers agaisnt it by not creating a free environment. In the home of some people, though they complain there is no love, they don’t create liberty among themselves. The scripture we read today says, “There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. “A very good portrait of love is the atmosphere God created in the garden of Eden at creation. God wanted love, and so He made it a free relationship. Liberty is not an absence of rules and regulations but the joy of living by the rules without fear. GIFTS OF THE SPIRIT

Scripture Reading 1 Corinthians 12:1-11
Devotional:- “But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills” (V. 11) NKJV

    When a man is living by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, it will be normal for him to manifest the gifts of the Holy Spirit. These gifts are what the Holy Spirit gives to each one whenever He comes to dwells in us. These gifts are in different ways by which the Holy Spirit manifests through us to carry out His assignments on earth.

The word of God says the Holy Spirit distribute these gifts to each one. So, when the Holy Spirit come inside you, he comes with either of these gifts (Acts 2:38). The virtue of these gifts manifest in each of us differently (1 Corinthians 12:4-7). Some manifest the word of wisdom. Others manifest the word of knowledge. Others manifest the gifts of faith. Some people manifest the gifts of healing, working of miracles, prophesying, discerning of the spirit, different kind of tongues, and interpretation of tongues.

Friend, since the Holy Spirit is the distributor of these gifts, then, you need consistent relationship with the Holy Spirit to manifest your own. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, help me to identify your gifts in my life

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
