DON'T HATE

DON’T HATE Matthew 5:43-48  Devotional:- “But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,” (V. 44) NKJV The subject of love is not always easy to practise between you, and those who have shown themselves as committed enemies. Those who will openly stand against you. Those who just hate you for no reason. Those who don’t pray that anything good should happen to you. Yet the Bible gave us a commandment in the midst of it all to love and never to hate them. What a great task! But until a Christian grows to this level, he cannot actually be called mature. The way to handle it is that we should bless those who curse us. Always do good to those who hate you. If they are moved by the spirit in them to do evil to you, be moved by the Spirit in you to love them. We cannot truly say we love till we can prayerfully demonstrate the character of love. In your time, consciously me...

MEN OF AUTHORITY

MEN OF AUTHORITY

Luke 10:17-24
Devotional:- “Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you” (V. 19)

One of the privileges we have in Christ Jesus is authority. When God created man in the beginning, He gave him authority over all other creatures. But man lost this authority to the devil through sin (Genesis 2:17, Genesis 3:4-10; Luke 4:6). Since Adam lost the authority, man has been suffering all manner of afflictions in the hand of the devil. Sicknesses, oppression, failure, debt and all manner of evil occurrences.

But I have this good news for you, that for this reason the son of God was made manifest to destroy all the works of the devil (1 John 3:8). Jesus has taken the authority back from the devil when he died on the cross. He went into hell to retrieve the authoritative key of life from the devil. And He said, He has given the key to us. You need to remind yourself of this often in prayer.

This authority is in His NAME (Philippians 2:4-11) His WORD (Hebrews 4:12) and in His BLOOD (Revelation 12:11). Any time the devil wants to raise his head in your life or in your family or in your business, remember to use the authority you have in Christ Jesus. And you will always have victory.

Don’t be afraid of the devil. You have a stronger power at your disposal. Fear is the trick of the devil to make you lose the understanding that you have a great authority in place. But whatever the case may be, stand strong in your authority in Christ, then the devil will bow out of your life.

Prayer: Lord, help me to always take your authority in my mouth

‘‘NO FORCE IS STRONG ENOUGH TO HINDER THE AUTHORITY OF THE WORD OF GOD’’
