A SINGING HEART

A SINGING HEART Ephesians 5:10-20 Devotional:- “speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord,” (v.19) NKJV Singing always, to some people, is equal to madness. Some believe that if you see a man who has never had a time of sorrow, then he is not a man. According to them, life must have ups and downs. But do you know that God want to simply make your days full of joy and void of sorrow. That is why Christ came to carry our sorrows away. If He has come to carry our sorrow away, then it is wrong to expect yourself to still be living in what is no more available (Isaiah 53:4). What the bible is teaching us today is contrary to what men will teach. God’s word wants us to always sing and be joyful. That is why God’s word says; rejoice in the Lord always and not sometimes (Philippians 4:4). Listen to this, if you want to be joyful and void of sorrow for the rest of your life, you need to pray it into your life. Sing...

LION'S LIKE

LION'S LIKE

Proverbs 28:1-7 NKJV
The wicked flee when no one pursues, But the righteous are bold as a lion. (V 1)

Lions are animals of a unique strength which has boldness inherent in their systems. They are animals that are well respected and feared by both men and other animals.

God created them with full dynamics. The Bible even says it does not have fear for or turns away from anyone even if you are shooting it. (Proverbs 30:30). It is a very brave animal. You will agree with me that we need this virtue to overcome in any battle. That is why the Bible refers to us as sons of God. And we are sons of God as Jesus comes into our lives. And the Bible says that Jesus is the Lion of the tribe of Judah. So, you belong to that lineage as soon as Jesus lives in you.

Yet we need to know the way of boldness. Fake boldness cannot bring anything good. It will only lead to failure and defeat. As we are facing the battle of life, we need the inward boldness. This is produced by standing right and knowing your capacity and right in God. A sinner will always feel condemned. And his bold face cannot take him anywhere; but the righteous are as bold as the lion.

Understanding that your righteousness is only given by your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ (1 Corinthian 5:20). Don't let the devil continue to make you feel condemned (Romans 8:1). Begin to seek to know God through His word and begin to work in His way, then your boldness will be put in place (Daniel 11:32). Even asking and receiving from God takes boldness (Hebrew 4:15-16). So rise up in boldness and overcome your situations. God is on your side.

Prayer: Lord, baptize me with the Spirit of boldness

"A BOLD PERSON IS ALWAYS A THREAT TO THE ENEMY "
