This is because the strength of man is inadequate in most cases. Most of the time, our strength proves inadequate, even when we are close to success. You will observe that with all your determination, thinking you can do something, sometimes, you will only get to the middle, to discover that your strength has been exhausted. At such a point, people who don’t have God turn to the devil for help. The devil will always take advantage of such a time, pretending to have a solution but only trying to trap their lives. PULLING DOWN STRONGHOLD 

2 Corinthians 10:1-6 NKJV
casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, (V 5)

    There is a strong power God has put in a man and that is our thought; which determines our life. It rules over our life. God’s word says, for as a man thinks in his heart so is he (Proverbs 23:7). It is what we are thinking in our mind meditatively that will eventually happen in our practical life. And so, devil the enemy of God and man knows and take advantage of this weapon in our live. He carries in through our thought. He makes us think negatively, and so become fearful and doubtful.

This has become a great problem in the life of most people. They find it difficult to believe the word of God. It has made many negative in faith. Many people are afraid of the devil more than God. In fact, some people in their hearts see the devil stronger than God in one way or the other. This is what the Bible refers to as stronghold. The power that can hold us back. These are wrong thoughts that has captured our heart. Note that evil and sinful thought are silent killer of destiny 

A victor only allows what God says to dominate his mind or thought. And when the wrong thought comes, we pull it down by the word of God and by the blood of the lamb will purify our heart. No matter your past experience with the devil or pains, now you are a child of God. Don’t keep entertaining evil thoughts. Let what God says rule your thought system. Learn to say no to evil and sinful thoughts. And you will surely overcome.

Prayer: Lord, give me the grace to only allow your victorious thoughts in my heart

“IT TAKES RULING OVER YOUR THOUGHTS TO BECOME A RULER”.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
