  SUBMIT TO HIM John 14:12-24  “Jesus answered and said to him, "If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.” (V. 23) NKJV   Sometimes on the platform of love, there is nothing men cannot offer to one another. If you truly love a man you will not want to reject or disobey him. You will want to do as much as it is in your capacity. You will not want to turn him down. Can you imagine how strictly you want to keep to an appointment with a loved one? If we have attached so much importance to responding to our lover, how much more God. If you truly love God it will be natural for you to submit to His will. You will not need to argue or ask too many questions. It will be a pleasure submitting to His will. Jesus said in the scripture we read today, if anyone loves me he will keep my words. In other word he will submit or obey my word. BORN OF GOD

1 John 5:1-5
For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. (V 4)

    If you are born of God, strength to overcome is in you. The enemies we face on daily basis are stronger than any imaginary thing. And it is in this light that God dwells in us, that we are be able to live victoriously. A man without God is too cheap for the devil to handle and to subjugate. If you want to be a victor in any area of your life, you therefore have no option than to be born of God.
When God created man, he breathed his spirit to his nostril and man became a living soul (Genesis 2:7). When man sinned, the spirit of God that makes man powerful departed. So for the spirit to come back to man, he need to accept Jesus into his life by inviting Him (John 1:12).

To be born of God is to be born again. It is when you invite Jesus to your life that He will come and begin to dwell in you. If you’ve not done that before or you are a backslider do it now. Only the people that are born of God have a guaranteed victory.
It might look any how now but victory shall surely come. God’s word says, "If God be for us who can be against us" (Romans 8:31). If you are born of God and yet you are still defeated. it is because you are not resisting the enemy in faith. Start to take faith and confidence from the word, resist him concerning everything in your life and he shall flee (James 4:7).

Prayer: Lord, let your Spirit in me always inspire me for my victory

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
