  NOT AUTOMATIC Philippians.1:1-11 Devotional:- “And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns” (V.6 NLT) Knowing fully well that spiritual growth is one of your purpose of been on the earth, then you also need to know that developing Christ-like character takes years, it is not automatic. We open to God bit by bit. Discipleship is the process of conforming to Christ (Romans 12:2, Ephesians 4:13). The truth is that the journey to Christ-likeness is a life time journey. Growth involves believing, belonging (through fellowship) and becoming (through discipleship). Every day God want you to become a little more like Him (Colossians 3:10) Today we are interested in speed but God is interested in strength and stability than swiftness (2 Corinthians 3:18). The reason it takes time to grow is because we are slow learner. We often have to relearn a lesson forth or fifty times to reall...

SIGNS AND WONDERS

Scripture Reading Isaiah 8:11-18
Devotional:- “Here am I and the children whom the Lord has given me! We are for signs and wonders in Israel From the Lord of hosts, Who dwells in Mount Zion” (V. 18)
NKJV

    It is natural for a man of inspiration to live as a sign and wonder. This is because, he is moved into all he does by the power of the Holy Spirit. His words and actions will be filled with power. Surely, his days shall be days of signs and wonders.

To be a sign and a wonder demands that we learn and key into a daily life of inspiration. This is a life intoxicated by the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 5:18). You must be speaking by the Holy Spirit. As long as a man wants to live as a mere Christian, he will be a victim of the wickedness of this world.

A sign and a wonder is the one that the forces of this world cannot contradict nor gain say (Luke 21:15). Friend, the way of the kingdom of God is different from that of the people in the world. You can only choose one (James 4:4). You are either going to choose men of the kingdom of God as your friend or follow your ungodly friends.  As a child of God, you have to live a life of signs and wonders. Your life must be a testimony to your world. Then you are truly showing forth the glory of God. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, release your grace on me for signs and wonders

“WHEN YOUR SOURCE IS HEAVEN, YOU WILL BE A SURPRISE ON THE EARTH”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
