  MAKING GOD HAPPY Numbers 6:22-27 Devotional:- “May the LORD smile on you and be gracious to you” (V. 25 NLT) One of the goals of our life is to make God happy. This is because the goal of worship is to make God happy. A man can make God happy when he pleases the Lord in all His ways. Job was a man who pleases the Lord in his life time (Job 1:8). Noah was another man who also pleased God in his generation (Genesis 6:8). We are living for the glory of God when we live to make God happy by pleasing the Him. To make God happy, we must love Him supremely (Luke 14:26). No one loved us as God does. He knows what no one knows about us that is why we must love Him more than ALL. It is possible to love God supremely when we relate closely with Him (Hosea 6:6; Matthew 22:37-38; Genesis 6:9). To make God happy, we must learn to trust Him completely. CONFIDENCE

Hebrews 10:32-39 NKJV
Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward. (V 35)

    Confidence is an attribute of every Victorious man. A confident man is a man that has the certainty of his ability to overcome. As much as some people can see confidence as a wrong way of living, yet no one has overcome without it.

The scripture we read today encouraged us not to throw away our confidence. The reward of a confident man is victory. You therefore need to build up your confidence in God.

Confidence is produced by the assurance of a promise of the truth. You are confident for sitting on a chair because you have the assurance that it has the strength to carry you. So also you need to build your confidence for victory and success in God. He is the rock of ages; this is possible by trusting in His word. God’s word says “we have also a more sure word of prophecy ... “(2 Peter 1:19).

This is the reason why David the man of war will not go to any war without a word from God. This is one of the secrets of his consistent victory. Whenever the word of God assures you of something you can place your confidence on it. God’s word cannot fail. You can always have total assurance of God’s word. It is dangerous to live without confidence. But then more dangerous to put your confidence in what is not certain but in the word of God.

Prayer: Lord, help me to build my confidence in you

“CONFIDENCE IS ONE OF THE UNCOMPROMISING SECRETS OF A VICTOR”.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
