ASK Matthew 7:7-12  Devotional:- “If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!” (V.11) NKJV For us to be able to enjoy the love of God as believers, we must begin to ask God for our needs. It is the principle of God that you will only have what you ask (Matthew 7:7). If you don’t speak out to ask, you may not be given. This was the problem of the senior brother of the prodigal son (Luke 15:29-32). Everything is for Him, but he had never asked for any. But the younger brother knew how to ask You must also learn how to ask. This is because you will only enjoy what you asked for. We therefore need to learn how to ask. The word ‘ask’ is not the same as beg or loan. The word asks suggests confidence and courage. It means to demand for what you are due for. It means to ask for your rights and your entitlements in God (Galatians 3:13-14). The bible is a book of covenant ...

CONSCIOUSNESS OF YOUR COMPANY

CONSCIOUSNESS OF YOUR COMPANY

2 Kings 6:8-20 NKJV
Devotional:- So he answered, “Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” (V 16)

There is need for us to become conscious of the value God has place on us, being His children. A lot of times when we are afraid, God is surprised and wonder why. One of the things comfortable people seek to have, is security. And God is more than comfortable, so as His children, He has put so many things in place for our security but a lot of God’s children are still afraid because of their ignorance. God said, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge” (Hosea 4:6).

Elisha the prophet of God was surrounded by great number of army yet he was conscious of the armies of God around him. His servant was scared, so, he prayed that his eyes will be opened. I pray that your eyes will be open from now to God’s security around you.

God’s word says, “He shall give his angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways” (Psalm 91:11). It further says. “The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him and delivers them” (Psalm 34:7). For those of us who abides in Zion, God’s word says, “... you have come to mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem to an innumerable company of angels”. (Hebrews 12:22).

Friend, Live the rest of your life in the consciousness of the host of God around you wherever you go. Then you will find peace like a river.

Prayer: Lord, help me to always see you around me

“YOUR COMPANY IS YOUR STRENGTH”.
