  DON’T HATE Matthew 5:43-48  Devotional:- “But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,” (V. 44) NKJV The subject of love is not always easy to practise between you, and those who have shown themselves as committed enemies. Those who will openly stand against you. Those who just hate you for no reason. Those who don’t pray that anything good should happen to you. Yet the Bible gave us a commandment in the midst of it all to love and never to hate them. What a great task! But until a Christian grows to this level, he cannot actually be called mature. The way to handle it is that we should bless those who curse us. Always do good to those who hate you. If they are moved by the spirit in them to do evil to you, be moved by the Spirit in you to love them. We cannot truly say we love till we can prayerfully demonstrate the character of love. CONSCIOUSNESS OF HIS PRESENCE

Psalm 23:1-6
“Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me” (V 4)

    Every man is made strong and become bold by the consciousness of what is inside of him. No matter the situation, the consciousness of our atmosphere strengthen our heart. When we were children, whenever we get to our parents, we have protection, so, will start making trouble and returning to them when we get stuck. We see them as a strong refuge and shelter.

Brethren, any believer who wants to overcome must also be conscious of the presence of God with him/her. He said He will always be with us in all situations (Isaiah 43:2). Though we may not see Him physically since He is a spirit and not visible to us.

David was a man who always enjoys the peace and the security of God’s presence. So, he said even though I pass through the valley of the shadow of death, yet I’ll fear no evil, for you are with me. No wonder he can’t but overcome in all the battles of his life.

Friend, always be conscious of His presence too. Both in the night or in the day. In your car, in your house, at office or on a journey. Always see Him around you. Then nothing evil can touch you in Jesus name.

Prayer: Lord, help me to always see you with me in all situation

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
