THANK HIM FOR ALL

THANK HIM FOR ALL Zechariah 4:1-10 Devotional:- “The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; His hands shall also finish it and thou shalt know that the Lord of hosts hath sent me unto you” (V. 9) KJV In such a season as this, one of the weapons of the devil to steal the joy of many is discouragement. The enemy will make them see that God has not been good to them. He will make us to think of what God has not done, and not what He has done. He will make us compare ourselves to others and so one will see other people as better.   God can provide all that you need, and He is not mindful or unfaithful to you. He gave you the one you have today, but all that is good for your life. He will also give you if you can wait on Him by faith. Such time like this should challenge us to become better to do better. Every time you are not happy with your current situation, just know that a change is about to take place in your life. It is now you who will determine ...

STAND ON

STAND ON

1 Chronicles 19:10-15
Be of good courage, and let us be strong for our people and for the cities of our God. And may the LORD do what is good in His sight.” (V 13)

Battles of life can sometimes look prevailing over us. It might even look as if one is failing despite all efforts. Sometimes some people look at their situation and conclude that they cannot survive it. They conclude on this because of what they can see happening around them physically but forgetting that situations and people’s comment are not good materials to judge the race of life.

The event we read in God’s word today shows us the army of Israel in the battle front. Their experiences have always been victories since God has always been with them. But now the battle seems going tough against them. Yet they refused to give up. They encouraged themselves and they stood on until they had their victory.

You need to also learn this wisdom. Learn to be courageous. Don’t be discouraged easily because of situation and people’s comments. If you can only stand on, you will become victorious. Throw away the pains of past failures. Re-organize yourself to relaunch against the enemy. Your yesterday’s failure is a proof that you can succeed. Also, failure is a proof that you can succeed tomorrow. Don’t give up. God is on your side. If you are weak physically God is not weak. Accept His strength by faith and stand on to victory. No power will be able to defeat you when God is in you.

Prayer: Lord, help me to keep standing my ground by faith in you.

“YOU CAN ONLY BE DEFEATED WHEN YOU GIVE IN OR GIVE UP”
