  DON’T HATE Matthew 5:43-48  Devotional:- “But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,” (V. 44) NKJV The subject of love is not always easy to practise between you, and those who have shown themselves as committed enemies. Those who will openly stand against you. Those who just hate you for no reason. Those who don’t pray that anything good should happen to you. Yet the Bible gave us a commandment in the midst of it all to love and never to hate them. What a great task! But until a Christian grows to this level, he cannot actually be called mature. The way to handle it is that we should bless those who curse us. Always do good to those who hate you. If they are moved by the spirit in them to do evil to you, be moved by the Spirit in you to love them. We cannot truly say we love till we can prayerfully demonstrate the character of love. BLOOD MARK

Exodus 12:21-31
Devotional:- For the LORD will pass through to strike the Egyptians; and when He sees the blood on the lintel and on the two doorposts, the LORD will pass over the door and not allow the destroyer to come into your houses to strike you. (V 23)

    God is a God of mysteries. One of the mysteries of God is the blood. This mystery He taught the children of Israel when He wanted to release them from the bondage of their masters the Egyptians. Before this time God had been doing many things in Egypt and Pharaoh did not bother to attend to the case of the children of Israel.

Then, God decided to use one of his weapons of war, which is the blood. He told the Israelites to tap into the mystery of the blood by killing an animal which symbolises the Lamb of God (Jesus Christ) and make a mark on their houses for the angel of destruction to pass them over.

Many hitherto, enjoy the shadow, but we have the substance. Jesus was crucified as our Passover lamb. His blood has been shed over 2000 years ago. All we need do is to always take cover in it. This is not a ritual but a mystery. It is our redemptive receipt. It informs the devil of your liberty.

Every morning just pronounces the coverage of the blood over yourself, family, business and property. The devil has no option than to pass over you daily. The Bible says, “And they overcame him by the blood of the lamb and by the words their testimony...” (Revelation 12:11). Anytime you plead the blood of Jesus, the blood begin to speak and directing the devil, to “pass over” (Hebrews 12:24). Learn to do this anytime you foresee the activities of the enemy. When the devil hears the blood of Jesus, then he will remember that your redemption was paid for and he will pass you by unharmed. Take the strong weapon of the blood and overcome from now.

Prayer: Lord, let the Mark of the blood of Jesus always be on my life and family in Jesus name

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
