SUCCESS AND YOUR PURPOSE

SUCCESS YOUR PURPOSE 2 Timothy 4:1-8 Devotional:- “And now the prize awaits me-the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give me on the day of his return. And the prize is not just for me but for all who eagerly look forward to his appearing” (V. 8) NLT When a person turns to the Lord, invite Jesus to his/her life, and surrender to Jesus as Lord and saviour, then he/she sincerely becomes a Christian. This is the state many in the church has not attained. Many struggle to surrender their lives to the Lord because they are afraid of failure, not able to trust God to give them success, and their love for the things of this world (1 John 2:15-17). When you sincerely surrender your life to Jesus Christ, your view of success cannot but change. Apostle Paul said, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, and I have remained faithful” (2 Timothy 4:7). When you start to live for God, your definition of success will change from materials to purpose. Liv...

CONDEMNATION

CONDEMNATION

Romans 8:1-5
Devotional:- “There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit” (V.1) NKJV

One of the strongest ways the enemy pulls people down is by making them feel condemned. This is simply the act of making a man feel he is not worthy, not qualified, or fit. For the enemy to successfully bring a man to condemnation, he keeps him in memory of his past shortcomings and Failures. He helps him work the mathematics of “so, therefore” that is he can never amount to anything meaningful in life again.

To overcome the spirit of self-condemnation, we need to first deal with its root. And these are your past failures and mistakes. It must be clear to you that your past is sometimes the enemy of the future. The fact that you fell yesterday does not mean that you cannot stand again. The fact that you failed in the past does not mean you will continue to fail. Most great people today are ex-failures. But they refuse to allow their failure to rub them of their success.

If it is the past sin or mistake that the devil often reminds you of, to pull you down, Jesus came to take care of that, so that He can give you a glorious future. God’s word says there is no more condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. (Romans 8:1). No matter the mess of your life today, God can clean you with His blood and you will still shine. You need to discontinue the way of sin. Stop yielding to the flesh. God is not condemning you, so, why condemning yourself? Even a woman caught in the act of adultery was brought to Jesus and was forgiven. He will forgive you and strengthen you. It's not over. You can still make it. Stop listening to lies. You are as important as anyone. You shall succeed.

PRAYER: LORD, DELIVER MY HEART FROM CONDEMNATION.

“THE CONDEMNED ARE ALWAYS SURPRISED AT GOD’S BLESSING SINCE THEY DON’T KNOW THEY ARE OF VALUE TO GOD”
