HE NEVER REJECTS YOU

HE NEVER REJECTS YOU John 6:24-40  Devotional:- “All whom My Father gives (entrusts) to Me will come to Me; and the one who comes to Me I will most certainly not cast out [I will never, no never, reject one of them who comes to Me]” (V 37) AMPC Sometimes we imagine God in our mind with the understanding and the likeness of men. We view Him as someone we have to really beg to ever experience His favour or help. The truth is that there are several reasons responsible for this. One of them is that man, by his nature, could reject a fellow man. So when we think of coming to God or returning to Him, we feel in our mind that we are too bad to be accepted. We need to understand that our feelings about God cannot be the best way to describe Him, like His word. Even though we feel like that, yet, the word of God, which is the truth, says, whoever comes to Him, He will never reject. He is never interested in the death of a sinner but that he repents and be saved (Ezekiel 18:23). This is part...

LOST OPPORTUNITIES

LOST OPPORTUNITIES

Luke 15:13-22
Devotional:-  bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!” (V. 17) NKJV

Opportunities are means God has created to prosper us in life. But the sad story is that some men with opportunities are not always aware of the opportunities until they lose them. It is often said that opportunity once lost may never be regained. This has put many lives in the circle of failure, just because they will always lose their God-giving opportunities.

The prodigal son had a great opportunity, but he did not realize it until he lost it. I don’t know how many opportunities you might have lost in life. Is it financial fortunes, marriage, promotion, good work, or help to travel out of the country? Jesus told the story of the prodigal son to let us know that we can regain our lost opportunities more gloriously. Our God is a God of second chance.

Don’t forget that experience is a great teacher. Experience makes a man wise and he becomes a leader among others. If you have not missed opportunities in the past, you may not be able to make the best use of the coming ones. As for you, God is going to restore your lost opportunities.  What you need to do is to keep wisdom, keep humility, and be willing to obey God in all situations. The prodigal son humbled himself to retrace his steps back home. You and I are the prodigal son and God is our father. Humble yourself to gain understanding. Be patient and don’t rush in making a decision. Learn to seek counsel, and God will bring a better time that will make your life better.

PRAYER: LORD, RESTORE MY LOST OPPORTUNITIES.

“OPPORTUNITY REGAINED IS AN OPPORTUNITY BEST UTILIZED”
