When God lifts a man, such a man must have enjoyed the intercessory ministry of others. It is part of the principle of God for us to receive (Matthew 7:7). This is because He does not want to break into our free will and damage our choice. He does not want to break into our decision. That is why we say it sometimes when an event happens, "Did God not see it?” Until He is asked to do something, He finds it difficult to do it. Rather, if He wants to promote a man and the man is not aware, He will touch other people to pray for him.  That is why you and I must also be willing to pray and stand in the gap for others. YOUR BACKGROUND 

I Samuel 9:17-22
Devotional:- “Pardon me, sir, “Saul replied, I’m from the tribe of Benjamin, the Smallest in Israel, and my family is the least important of all the families of the tribe! You must have the wrong man!” (V. 21) TLB

    It is often said that every man is a product of his background. Just like every stream is a product of its source. Sometimes, no amount of training can change a person, as their background remains a significant factor. He may be afraid to do some wrong things in front of others, but in private, he might be doing it. Asking some people to divorce their background is like asking them to die. Yet some people live in backgrounds that will never make them succeed or excel in life. If we focus on our background, we could disqualify ourselves from being able to attain great achievements in life

You need to stop looking at your background to determine your tomorrow. Yes, background influences your destiny, and that is the reason for the new birth experience in Christ so we can have a new background. Old things need to pass away in our lives, and part of it is our weak background (2 Corinthians 5: 17). If you are born again, the nature of God is born into your spirit man. So you have a royal background in Christ Jesus and your future is kingly (1 Peter 2:9, Revelation 5:9-10).

Jesus brought you from the former to the new. (Galatians 3: 13-14). Stop condemning yourself like Saul. God always loves to give people of no-good backgrounds a glorious future. He removes people from the back or on the ground to the front in a glorious place. Settle it in your heart that you are moving from that background to your glorious place in Christ.

PRAYER: LORD, BRING ME TO THE CONSCIOUSNESS OF MY NEW BACKGROUND.

“A MAN CAN MOVE FROM THE BACK TO THE FRONT BY FAITH IN CHRIST”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
