HE NEVER REJECTS YOU

HE NEVER REJECTS YOU John 6:24-40  Devotional:- “All whom My Father gives (entrusts) to Me will come to Me; and the one who comes to Me I will most certainly not cast out [I will never, no never, reject one of them who comes to Me]” (V 37) AMPC Sometimes we imagine God in our mind with the understanding and the likeness of men. We view Him as someone we have to really beg to ever experience His favour or help. The truth is that there are several reasons responsible for this. One of them is that man, by his nature, could reject a fellow man. So when we think of coming to God or returning to Him, we feel in our mind that we are too bad to be accepted. We need to understand that our feelings about God cannot be the best way to describe Him, like His word. Even though we feel like that, yet, the word of God, which is the truth, says, whoever comes to Him, He will never reject. He is never interested in the death of a sinner but that he repents and be saved (Ezekiel 18:23). This is part...

LACK OF HELP

LACK OF HELP

Psalm 121:1-8
Devotional:- “I look up to the mountains- does my help come from there?” (V. 1) NLT

God has not created man to succeed alone. He created us to need each other. And that is where help comes in. No man can achieve or attain anything without the help of God. No one can truly receive help from others unless God approves it for them (II Kings 6:27).

The statement of King David that we read today shows that he needed help and was looking to the mountains for help. Many people often don’t find help when they need it. Some don’t even know who to turn to at all, yet it is not the plan of God that we lack help.

To begin to enjoy the help of God, stop looking at the mountains for help. The mountain here represents people you know or the connections you have made for yourself. It also means having confidence in people. If you make people the focus of your help, you will always be disappointed. God should be the focus of our help. He will indeed use men, yet we should not see these men as the source of our help but God.

So, start to turn to Him in prayer, asking for His help and you will go out to begin to meet the help of Cod in your ways. Stop depending on men, start looking unto God for help. Soon your help shall be daily till you become great in Jesus name. (I Chronicles 12:22).

PRAYER: LORD, LET THERE BE DAILY HELP FOR ME FROM NOW.

“GOD IS THE SOURCE; MAN IS ONLY A MEANS”
