SUCCESS AND YOUR PURPOSE

SUCCESS YOUR PURPOSE 2 Timothy 4:1-8 Devotional:- “And now the prize awaits me-the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give me on the day of his return. And the prize is not just for me but for all who eagerly look forward to his appearing” (V. 8) NLT When a person turns to the Lord, invite Jesus to his/her life, and surrender to Jesus as Lord and saviour, then he/she sincerely becomes a Christian. This is the state many in the church has not attained. Many struggle to surrender their lives to the Lord because they are afraid of failure, not able to trust God to give them success, and their love for the things of this world (1 John 2:15-17). When you sincerely surrender your life to Jesus Christ, your view of success cannot but change. Apostle Paul said, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, and I have remained faithful” (2 Timothy 4:7). When you start to live for God, your definition of success will change from materials to purpose. Liv...

NEGLECT

NEGLECT

John 5:1-9
Devotional:- “The sick man answered Him, "Sir, I have no man to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up; but while I am coming, another steps down before me" (V. 7) NKJV

Many people today are faced with the problem of being neglected due to one situation the other. Sometimes people observe a particular problem facing a person and tend to neglect them. When they observe that such a life is hopeless, they neglect him. When people have something to gain around you, they multiply in friendship. But when they observe it had finished, they neglect you; forgetting that a friend in need is a friend indeed.

The man we read about today might have been a big man before. Married with children, but suddenly he became sick. The family cared for him to the point at which they were fed up and he ended up being neglected. People might have thought there is nothing good that can come out of your life. Friends might have been avoiding you, relations may not even ask for where you are. Even your spouse might have left you alone for life’s responsibility. All hope; is not lost. You can still rise. I heard about a man thrown in the bush because relations were fed up with him, thinking he would die there, but Jesus visited him and he came back after being healed and alive.

Jesus is visiting you today. Take life challenges as they come. Stop complaining. Start from where you are. Accept your level and begin to grow bit by bit. Those who laugh at you will soon laugh with you. Those who neglect you will soon be filling out forms to see you. God is always on the side of people like you. Rise from today, He will help you and you will become amazement to your generation.

PRAYER: LORD, VISIT ME AND MAKE ME AN AMAZEMENT TO MY WORLD.

“THE NEGLECT OF MEN QUALIFIES YOU FOR THE ACCEPTANCE OF GOD”
