SUCCESS YOUR PURPOSE 2 Timothy 4:1-8 Devotional:- “And now the prize awaits me-the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give me on the day of his return. And the prize is not just for me but for all who eagerly look forward to his appearing” (V. 8) NLT When a person turns to the Lord, invite Jesus to his/her life, and surrender to Jesus as Lord and saviour, then he/she sincerely becomes a Christian. This is the state many in the church has not attained. Many struggle to surrender their lives to the Lord because they are afraid of failure, not able to trust God to give them success, and their love for the things of this world (1 John 2:15-17). When you sincerely surrender your life to Jesus Christ, your view of success cannot but change. Apostle Paul said, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, and I have remained faithful” (2 Timothy 4:7). UNBELIEF

II Kings 7:1-16
Devotional:- “Look, even if the Lord should open the floodgates of heavens, could this happen” (V. 2) NIV

    So many people today face the problem of unbelief, which has made their lives miserable. They don’t believe anything that they cannot see. The word of God says the just shall live by faith (2 Corinthians 5:7). Whatever they cannot reason out with their natural mind, they disbelief. Such people will always argue over the truth.

The king's officer we read about today fell into great trouble since he would not believe the word of God. He saw the fulfillment of the word but never partake of it (2 Kings 7:11). You need to know that doubters will not have anything in God (James 1:6-8). You may not be able to see the glory of God, if you do not believe (John 11:40). God’s word says, that the story of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing but for those of us who are saved, it is the power of God.

Friend, stop doubting the things of God. He that can’t believe God can’t receive from God. Your power or wisdom can do nothing without Him. Unbelief will cripple our relationship with God. No matter what you are going through, if you keep believing God, you will witness His manifestation. Our experience is not enough to determine God’s faithfulness. Hold on to His word and you will see His glory.

PRAYER: LORD, HELP ME TO ALWAYS BELIEVE YOUR WORD.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
