HE NEVER REJECTS YOU

HE NEVER REJECTS YOU John 6:24-40  Devotional:- “All whom My Father gives (entrusts) to Me will come to Me; and the one who comes to Me I will most certainly not cast out [I will never, no never, reject one of them who comes to Me]” (V 37) AMPC Sometimes we imagine God in our mind with the understanding and the likeness of men. We view Him as someone we have to really beg to ever experience His favour or help. The truth is that there are several reasons responsible for this. One of them is that man, by his nature, could reject a fellow man. So when we think of coming to God or returning to Him, we feel in our mind that we are too bad to be accepted. We need to understand that our feelings about God cannot be the best way to describe Him, like His word. Even though we feel like that, yet, the word of God, which is the truth, says, whoever comes to Him, He will never reject. He is never interested in the death of a sinner but that he repents and be saved (Ezekiel 18:23). This is part...

LONELINESS

LONELINESS

I King 19:1-10
Devotional:- “So he said, "I have been very zealous for the LORD God of hosts; for the children of Israel have forsaken Your covenant, torn down Your altars, and killed Your prophets with the sword. I alone am left; and they seek to take my life” (V. 10) NKJV

There is a common saying that “everything that has advantages also has disadvantages”. For example, one of the adverse effects of technological development in the world today is loneliness. The development we have in technology is fantastic but it is making us become far from one another. For example, since you can connect with a friend or relative on the telephone, you don’t need to see him/her again. We don’t have to go to the cinema houses before we can enjoy a good movie; it can be watched in individual homes on television. This has become what is greatly contending with our time, faith, and relationship with family, friends and God. Most movies keep you indoors for five hours or more. But all of these cannot replace the joy of being together with our loved ones.

If you are feeling lonely today, for one reason or the other, there is a way out. Please know that Jesus felt so when He was on the Cross (Mathew 27: 46). So also did Elijah the man of God we read about today. You need to be out of the situation soon. Loneliness can destroy your self-esteem and make you feel like nobody cares. It can make life look miserable. It could make a man begin to act wickedly against himself and it can open the door of oppression from the devill/

During such challenge, always remember the promise of Jesus to always be with you (Mathew 28:20). See Him around you always in your mind by faith, whether you are sleeping or awake. The Holy Spirit also lives in you and God the Father always watches over you. You can’t have the triune God with you and still feel lonely. You only need to communicate in the Spirit. One of the ways is by making melodies in your heart to God (Ephesians 5: 19). Anytime you are praising God, the host of heaven will always join you in singing the choruses (Psalm 22:3, Hebrew 12:22). Hear them with the ear of the Spirit. Always see Jesus beside you standing to follow you everywhere you go. Always be conscious of the angels of God around you singing and praying with you. They carry your prayers and songs to God’s presence as sacrifices and supplications. Don’t forsake the gathering of God's children (Hebrew 10:25). Then you will begin to enjoy great company and peace.

PRAYER: LORD, HELP ME TO CARRY THE CONSCIOUSNESS OF YOUR PRESENCE ALWAYS.

“WHEN GOD IS WITH YOU, THERE ARE INNUMERABLE COMPANIES WITH YOU”
