STAND IN

STAND IN 1 Timothy 2:1-7  Devotional:- “Here are my directions: Pray much for others; plead for God's mercy upon them; give thanks for all he is going to do for them.” (v.1) TLB . When God lifts a man, such a man must have enjoyed the intercessory ministry of others. It is part of the principle of God for us to receive (Matthew 7:7). This is because He does not want to break into our free will and damage our choice. He does not want to break into our decision. That is why we say it sometimes when an event happens, "Did God not see it?” Until He is asked to do something, He finds it difficult to do it. Rather, if He wants to promote a man and the man is not aware, He will touch other people to pray for him.  That is why you and I must also be willing to pray and stand in the gap for others. Paul was instructing Timothy and all of us as members of the body of Christ to pray for others. There are so many people around you who need one thing or another. Even though you ca...

SPEAKING THE WORD

SPEAKING THE WORD

Hebrew 4:8-12
Devotional:- “For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart” (V. 12) NKJV.

Children of God have to come to an understanding of the power of the word of God. Many of us carry the bible in our hands without knowing the power in it. It is like a powerful weapon in the hands of a slothful or weak person, or a living instrument in the hands of a dead man. So, the word of God could be powerless if people lack understanding (Hosea 4:6). That Bible in your hands is the strongest weapon that heaven and earth have and recognize (Jeremiah 23:29). It contains the words spoken by God.

Don’t forget that the word of God creates the world and it has not lost its value and power (John 1:1-3). It is jealously guided by the Holy Spirit even when men are translating it. So, it can recreate your life, heal your diseases, and change your situation for good. You need to know that the Bible is the spoken word of God and since the time it has been spoken, it has remained alive and dynamic (Isaiah 55:8). It is as you take it that you will find the assurance of faith that will give you rest (Romans 10:17). If anyone will receive it to himself by studying and meditating in it, the word will enter him and his mouth will be full of it to change life and situations.

The word is referred to in Ephesians 6:17 as the sword of the Spirit. Always take it by studying it daily. So, when a situation confronts you, speak exactly what the word says. When you don’t doubt it you will see the result God saw, because the word is still alive. When Jesus was faced with the devil, He overcame by the word. “It is written” (Luke 4:8). Any time the devil shows up, face him with the scripture. He will flee out of your life. Make your voice that of the word, and the angels of God will execute it (Psalm 103:20). Don’t watch sicknesses and sorrow destroy your life and family. The word is your sword. It's your incantation. Take it, fight with it, and win.

PRAYER: LORD, HELP ME TO BE LOADED DAILY WITH YOUR WORD.

“YOUR MOUTH IS THE WEAPON TO RELEASE THE WORD FOR FURTHER MANIFESTATION”
