HE NEVER REJECTS YOU

HE NEVER REJECTS YOU John 6:24-40  Devotional:- “All whom My Father gives (entrusts) to Me will come to Me; and the one who comes to Me I will most certainly not cast out [I will never, no never, reject one of them who comes to Me]” (V 37) AMPC Sometimes we imagine God in our mind with the understanding and the likeness of men. We view Him as someone we have to really beg to ever experience His favour or help. The truth is that there are several reasons responsible for this. One of them is that man, by his nature, could reject a fellow man. So when we think of coming to God or returning to Him, we feel in our mind that we are too bad to be accepted. We need to understand that our feelings about God cannot be the best way to describe Him, like His word. Even though we feel like that, yet, the word of God, which is the truth, says, whoever comes to Him, He will never reject. He is never interested in the death of a sinner but that he repents and be saved (Ezekiel 18:23). This is part...

POWER OF OBEDIENCE

POWER OF OBEDIENCE

John 2:1-10
Devotional:- “His mother said to the servants, "Whatever He says to you, do it” (V. 5) NKJV

In facing the battles of life, you need to realize the power of obedience. Jesus is our comma
nder and obedience to Him is not optional. A soldier who will not listen to his commander may become a victim. This is because the commanders are always in the position to see ahead via several pieces of information and their instructions are important.

In the scripture we read today, the marriage ceremony was about becoming a disgrace, but obedience brought them out. The celebrants were highly privileged to have the captain of life in attendance. And so, when confusion was stepping in, Mary knew what to do. Likewise, in your home and office, you need to learn the wisdom of Mary.

Don’t fight without direction; you will be wasting your bullets. And when you are directed by God, don’t be too wise to reject it. Remember, our fight is a fight of faith and faith comes by hearing the word (1 Timothy 6:12; Romans 10:17). Simple obedience in that ceremony earned them their miracle. Though we may be pressured by our needs, it is always better to wait to receive instruction and obey it. It doesn't have to look reasonable. Who would ever think fetching water would be the way to get wine? Common sense will prefer to go and buy wine. But it would have been impossible at midnight. When God’s instruction comes it will distinguish you while commonsense will put you in the common way of impossibility.

To overcome the battles of life, always obey what God is saying, even if it does not appeal to sense. Then, you will always see your miracle. Don’t be too wise. Learn to obey the Holy Spirit. He will deliver your victory to you.

PRAYER: LORD, HELP ME TO ALWAYS OBEY THE HOLY SPIRIT.

“OBEDIENCE TO GOD HAS NO COMMON GROUND WITH COMMON SENSE”
