HE NEVER REJECTS YOU

HE NEVER REJECTS YOU John 6:24-40  Devotional:- “All whom My Father gives (entrusts) to Me will come to Me; and the one who comes to Me I will most certainly not cast out [I will never, no never, reject one of them who comes to Me]” (V 37) AMPC Sometimes we imagine God in our mind with the understanding and the likeness of men. We view Him as someone we have to really beg to ever experience His favour or help. The truth is that there are several reasons responsible for this. One of them is that man, by his nature, could reject a fellow man. So when we think of coming to God or returning to Him, we feel in our mind that we are too bad to be accepted. We need to understand that our feelings about God cannot be the best way to describe Him, like His word. Even though we feel like that, yet, the word of God, which is the truth, says, whoever comes to Him, He will never reject. He is never interested in the death of a sinner but that he repents and be saved (Ezekiel 18:23). This is part...

RISING FROM DEFEAT

RISING FROM DEFEAT

Joshua 7:2-12
Devotional:- “So the LORD said to Joshua: "Get up! Why do you lie thus on your face?” (V. 10) NKJV

When a man is defeated, the enemy often wants him to see it as the end of life. He will make him see how he has put in so much and has resulted in failure; he will make him see most things as ‘impossible in life, and bring discouragement to his heart. It is not in the devil’s interest that you rise again. He often wants to discourage us from rising from defeat.

If you find these challenges in your life, you need to first know that most of the things that the devil is saying to your hearing are lies (John 8:44). You need to know that your victory in life is already established in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:37). Even though you are looked down upon today you will soon be standing in glory. Joshua and the children of Israel so much looked down on Ai and sent a few people to fight them. Surprisingly they were defeated. Joshua and the people got discouraged. They became afraid of what will become of their lives and they never knew that Achan had sinned against the Lord. Listen, no matter how much God promised a man, if the man continues in sin the grace of God will not flow (Romans 6:1-2).

In the state of your defeat always check if you are not disobedient to God. Sin is what will make Him turn back; then correct your ways. But having examined yourself, you need to rise again and face life's challenges. Defeat in life does not mean we have sinned alone; it might also mean that God wants to take total glory on your enemy. After all, if you have never been defeated you will not appreciate victory. Everything happening around you is meant to give you comprehensive testimony. Those who are laughing at you today will soon laugh with you. Don’t give up, God is with you (Romans 8:31). You are too much to be defeated. Arise and win.

PRAYER: LORD, STRENGTHEN ME TO RISE AGAIN

“HE THAT IS TRULY DEFEATED IS THE ONE THAT REFUSES TO RISE FROM DEFEAT”
