HE NEVER REJECTS YOU

HE NEVER REJECTS YOU John 6:24-40  Devotional:- “All whom My Father gives (entrusts) to Me will come to Me; and the one who comes to Me I will most certainly not cast out [I will never, no never, reject one of them who comes to Me]” (V 37) AMPC Sometimes we imagine God in our mind with the understanding and the likeness of men. We view Him as someone we have to really beg to ever experience His favour or help. The truth is that there are several reasons responsible for this. One of them is that man, by his nature, could reject a fellow man. So when we think of coming to God or returning to Him, we feel in our mind that we are too bad to be accepted. We need to understand that our feelings about God cannot be the best way to describe Him, like His word. Even though we feel like that, yet, the word of God, which is the truth, says, whoever comes to Him, He will never reject. He is never interested in the death of a sinner but that he repents and be saved (Ezekiel 18:23). This is part...

WORRY AND ANXIETY

WORRY AND ANXIETY

Matthew 6:25-34
Devotional:- “Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life? (V.27) NIV

One of the most common challenges in the lives of people today is worry and anxiety. This has resulted in many people becoming sick. People worry virtually over everything. Most of us don’t know that worrying is doubting the ability or the power of God to sustain our lives.

People worry over what they will eat, what they will wear, and what they will acquire that has not come. People also worry about what their end would be. When most people go on a journey, they worry about how they will reach their destination. Even though a vehicle is made for only one driver most of the people in the vehicle drive with the driver. They pedal brake and turn steering hanging their eyes and heart on the road beyond that of the driver. Even the drivers are more at rest.

You need to know that this is a weakness that you must overcome to enjoy peace and success. To overcome this, you need to understand that the power of God is what sustains the earth. It is what controls the oceans. It is what sustains the sun and moon. Therefore, your matter is too small to handle for Him. He will provide all that you need. Learn to put your total trust in Him. By worrying over things, your need will not be met. By worrying you can’t stop the devil. Worry is actually the five senses ministering fear to you and fear will bring torments, and activities of the devil (1 John 4:18; Job 3:25). Learn to deny and ignore the flesh. Tell your senses to be quiet and your God is enough for you.

Learn to commit your life to God and let Him handle it (Psalm 37:5). Whatever God instruct you to do in form of ideas, do it (John 2:5). But at the points that it is beyond your power, ask him to come in. Your faith will bring Him; your fear will bring the devil. If you are not a driver commit the vehicle and driver to God’s hand and sleep off. Relax, God is in control. Don’t die of hypertension. There is a sweeter tomorrow for you; soon you will be flying in the sky with peace in Jesus name.

PRAYER: LORD, GRANT ME THE GRACE TO REST IN YOUR HAND ALWAYS.

“THE AMOUNT OF YOUR PEACE IS EQUAVALENT TO YOUR TRUST IN GOD”
