  GREAT HOME John 14:1-6 Devotional:- “In My Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you” (V. 2) NKJV At creation, God created man into a paradise made for his eternal pleasure. God did not intend that the human race would ever live in suffering. Man was made to enjoy the best of mental exertion for a beautiful outfit. Man was to live forever in the paradise of God. But the devil cunningly deceived man, which made God chase man out of the paradise. Since then, the life of man has been terrible and most miserable. That is why when people have everything they need in this world, they will still discover that they are not fully satisfy. There is no place we can live that will fully satisfy us. This is a factor and the fact that something in us is still looking for something somewhere better than this world. In search of this, some people try to go to the moon and other planets. WRONG ASSOCIATION               

Proverbs 13:18-21
Devotional:- “He who walks with wise men will be wise, But the companion of fools will be destroyed” (V. 20) NKJV

    It is not in the plan of God that we live our lives in any form of bondage.

That is why Jesus came to set man free from whatever binds him (1 John 3:8). Some people see Christianity as a form of bondage, but that is not true. If there is anything that looks like that, it is to keep us from what will keep us in the bondage of the devil. That is why Jesus says, “Come unto me all you who labor and are heavily laden and I will give you rest”. Take my yoke upon you, for my yoke is easy and my burden is light. (Mathew 11:28-30) 

Today, many people have put themselves in great trouble by wrong association and they can’t find their way out. This has put so much load on them. Through this, some people have been influenced into terrible and destructive habits. Some associations will even help people make money but they take eternal life from them. Some people have to do some terrible things because of the associations they belong to. Though those things are destructive to them, but they can’t help the situations. Every form of bad habit is contacted by bad associations. Even common sense shows that smoking and drinking are bad but people fall into this trap by association.

The way out of wrong and destructive association is to divorce them for the right one. But how do you know the right association? This is a fellowship of people who call upon God. If you don’t do away with wrong associations, your life and destiny are at stake. Association shapes the life of a man. Since you can’t do without an association, the way out is to replace it. Until you part with some people your life will never progress. If you don’t put an end to that wrong gathering, they may soon end your life (2 Corinthians 6:17). Call it a quit with wrong association and the help of God will begin to come to you.

PRAYER: LORD, HELP ME TO QUIT ALL WRONG ASSOCIATIONS.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
